Space Coast Golf Club
About
Challenge the Savannahs. On the windward side of Merritt island lies one of the most unique golf courses on Florida's Space Coast. The 6,450 yard Gordon G. Lewis design winds through majestic hardwood forests, natural wetlands, and scenic lakes to reveal protected, undulated greens. Nine holes are framed by a natural savannah conservation area, bordered by hammocks with a high canopy of trees and coastal flatwoods. Water, in the form of natural wetlands and manmade lakes, comes into play on thirteen holes. The course boasts several unforgettable holes, such as the 525-yard, par 5 Signature 7th, regarded as one of the most challenging holes in Central Florida. This beautifully tight, typically southern course features six sets of tees, making play ideal for beginners and pros. The back tees are demanding even for the best of the best, while our new “Family Tees” are playable by anyone who wants to tee up. Prepare for your round by warming up on our practice facilities that include: unique aqua range, chipping and bunker area, and full-sized practice putting green. Look around during your visit, and you will notice nature's splendor on display. Our preserve features many water birds, birds of prey, reptiles, and low country mammals that make the savannahs their home. The fairways additionally offer a great view of the nearby Cape Canaveral rocket launches. Our southern plantation styled Clubhouse is a great place to start and end your day at The Savannahs. Inside you will find a golf shop, plus a bar and grill with great food and hospitality to match. Or, wander outside to the veranda overlooking the aqua range and golf course to catch the sunset.

Bad Price
Charging this much for a course that needs ALOT of work is criminal. Almost all the greens were in terrible condition. Bunkers were more like concrete and Although i live 5 minutes from the course I will not return until the course is better shape. They spent the money on brand new carts, when they should have spent the money on getting the course in shape.
Fairways and greens were punched and course was being worked on, would not have booked tee time if I knew this before booking..
Just OK
Course was in fairly decent shape but the greens were atrocious. Looked like they hadn’t been cut in a week. Just maintain what you had and it is an absolute steal. But if this is gonna be the new normal for the greens, I definitely won’t be back
Best course in Central and North Brevard.
Cant say enough about the staff. Very professional and friendly. They do a great job from the time you pull up to the bag drop to the time you leave the property. They had a beverage cart circling the entire time. Probably saw her every 5 holes. That's hard to find at any course in Brevard. The course was in good condition. There was a few holes with bad fairways but every green rolled nicely. No doubt would recommend you play this over any other course North of Viera East.
Always good
This is one of the more consistent courses we play at as far as condition, pace of play, and overall experience, it is always worth the 45 minute drive. The crew keeps the course in great shape and the cost vs value is excellent. The pace of play can be slow with no Marshall patrolling the course. I will try to schedule a round when they have a launch at the cape, that would be memorable as this is the closest course to nasa.
Nice course
Savahnnas is a local course that fell out of players course routine. Now the course has been brought back to a great day, except if it rained the day before. Front Nine were cartpath only On the day I visited, but overall, it has been much improved. Glad to see the new leadership is making this course worth trying
Cart path only
I booked a last minute tee time based on the rain that had just passed by Savannahs so the course was wet and of course was cart path only day . I finished the round in 3.5 hrs or so . Ran into a five-some by hole 13 but they actually played pretty fast and was aware that i was behind them so no complaints here. The greens were good ;some had patches of weeds but that didn’t affect my putts . They rolled pretty good for me . Fairways were decent and wet ; some had bare spots but not a lot . Second time playing this course so I knew to manage my shots better (since on most holes there water on both sides ) . Luckily I didn’t hit any bunkers but most were filled with water . Tee boxes, some people would complain because some seem to be sparse of grass . I tee up all my shots so I didn’t mind the lack of grass . Would definitely come back !! Nice friendly staff working there !!
