About
Duran Golf Club is a local favorite, known for being the best public course in Brevard County. The club is also home to the area's only lighted nine-hole, par-3 course. The course stretches across fertile terrain that was formerly a sod farm, lending some of the lushest playing surfaces on Florida's east coast. The championship layout has a links feel with subtle mounding that frames large, undulating greens. The beautiful landscape comes into play throughout the golf course. Sparkling lakes and ponds, lush grasses, and stately palms all add to the beauty and challenge of the round. Coastal breezes come into play on several holes thanks to the seaside location. Duran Golf Club's practice facility is almost as popular as the 18-hole course. In addition to the par-3 course, there is also a large driving range with mounded areas where you can practice with uphill and downhill lies.

holes on edge of green and on slope
the past years Duran has been conssitently putting their holes on slopes and edge of the greens
i asked the workers about it, they said the green keeper does it to get revenge and laughs about it

Course Vs clubhouse
One of the best courses in Brevard county, however the bar is small not many good choices.
Duran GC, Viera, FL
Excellent course despite aeration of greens. Course was wet in some low areas, but overall in great condition - some fairways were cart path only. Enjoyable round, majority of greens are reachable in 2 shots.
Great Course
Great course in Viera. Greens were recently punched so that was a challenge, but when they heal up, they will be fantastic. Course overall is in great shape.
Great Course
Played 8/21/25
Course was in pretty great shape. Greens were quick, even after being punched and sand laid down. Staff was extremely friendly. Gal at the bar in the morning was friendly and got me a cooler of ice and a couple shots, Met the cart girl there as well, she was very friendly and very fun. Guy in the pro shop was friendly and gave us some pointers for first time play. 10/10 would play here again. Got a killer "hot deal" for 24 bucks. I'd pay 50 to play here all day.
Back Nine
Unfortunately when I arrived I was told that they were aerating the front side so we had to play the back nine twice. I wish it would have been noted on Golf Now when I booked my tee time as I might have chosen a different course to play. The course had two flags on every hole so we were able to play the back pin the first time around then the front pins on the second nine. So this made the holes play a bit differently for each nine. Overall an enjoyable day as conditions were great.
Decent course
The staff were very friendly. Course was fair shape. No driving range available. Pace of play was fine. I’ll play it again down the road.
B U Tee Full Track
Teed off at 11:00 a.m.. Course Gorgeous condition fairway perfect lies, greens perfect shape roll well, all around in great shape no disappointments. Typical summer day in Florida mudda nature cut my back swing short when lighting storm blew thru on 11th hole and no RC. Will go back soon to play full 18.

Nice place to play
Tee time was late Sunday morning. Course is in good shape. Pace of play was great. Staff is always friendly. Kitchen closes early some eating options are limited late afternoon.
