Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Beautiful course
Beautiful course with a nice layout and greens are really good. My only negative is that the carts have no coolers. But definitely still worth playing

Viera East has great drainage considering recent rains. Fairway grass longer than usual and bunkers need additional sand. Great layout, staff, and practice area. Friendly 6 tee box choices is pleasant for all skill levels.
Course was closed
Thursday a heavy rain dumped 4 inches and Friday morning the course decided not to open for play, with standing water everywhere 🙃
Summer rates are too high
The two best courses in central Brevard is Viera East and Duran. I normally lean towards Viera because of their friendliness and improved snack bar which is really more than a stack bar; the hook and eagle tavern.
Solid Quality Course
The staff and Rangers on the golf course were awesome. Even provided some water on this hot day and I highly recommend this golf course!!!!

Course was closed due to rain over the prwvious few days. Would be nice to get a textbor email that thw course waa not open.

My favorite
I play with my friends once or twice per week at different golf courses in the area. I like Viera East the most.
ok
for the condition of the course especially the greens it's overpriced... depending on who you get in the pro shop there are 2 older guys that both act like they are doing you a favor checking you in, both have an inhospitable edge about them, my prior round one of them met me at the turn outside to nastily question whether I was playing 9 or 18 and to take his frustration on us because a twosome came out of nowhere to jump ahead of us on 10, very awkward nasty moment
Greens
Most courses offer a discount when the greens have been recently punched and aren’t rolling well. Pro shop attendant not very friendly, made you feel like he was doing you a favor to take your business
Best course in the area and great deal.
Really good conditions and a great value for the money. Way better than any of the other courses I’ve played down here for pretty much the same price.
Course is great but…
The course is great but the pace was pretty bad. 18 holes took about 5 hours with only two people.
