Not good
First the lady checking people in needs lesson in customer service. Very rude and condescending. Second the course is in horrible shape except greens are ok. Very sad this used to be a nice course.
Greens in great shape but a little slow. Newly installed irrigation line showing in course conditions.
Course was ok given that lack of rain here lately. Greens were good although a bit slow. 90 degree rule for carts was totally unnecessary as the area is in a drought. Pace of play a bit slow - perhaps more time required between starts. In back 9, Two additional groups were sandwiched between us and the group we followed on the front nine which made for a lot of waiting on the back nine and slowed the pace considerably. Lastly, the Dolphin course needs more signage on the course- lots of ambiguous roads and cart paths that are not marked well and directions are confused.
Very rough conditions
The conditions were quite rough. The lack of maintenance is way beyond the freeze damage.
I enjoy golf.
The greens were a bit rough. The dolphins tee boxes were very bare. As stated in the title, I enjoy golf.
Not bad golf course
Did not appreciate the price difference for non-residents. We are bringing money to play there. It is the first time that I paid to play on a course that charged for non-resident.
Once great
Taking in to account the recent freeze in Florida and the obvious brown that comes with it; the course is average at best. Great staff; Rebecca is Exceptional, and starter is friendly. The greens were true and in decent shape. Dolphin course greens were better than lakes. The greens run true with just a few dry spots and bumps here and there. Fairways and tee boxes are where the over use is most seen. I’ve always said if I could buy a course it would be this one because the potential and the location are through the roof great. Sadly the run down reality makes playing here not as enjoyable as it could and should be.
Fairways
The major criticisms were on their fairways having little grass. The rest of the round was a good time.
Good course for money
First of all this course has even after the frost some
good conditions. Like any others you will find brown fairways spots - loads of wildlife and ad usual Alligators
Too expensive for the quality
Horrible fairways and greens. Prices are comparable to other area courses but the quality is far lower. We won’t be going back anytime soon.
Poor value
I gave Cocoa Beach County Club one more chance. I heard by word of mouth conditions had improved. I played yesterday and was disappointed that the playing conditions have not improved. It was especially disappointing since I payed 60 bucks each for 4 players. It hasn't reached goat track status, but it's close. I will not be back. Apparently no, or very little money has been budgeted for course maintenance. One star rating from me.
Terrible
I went to play on my birthday with my son and I could not believe they charged full price with no mention of the thousands of dead fish floating in every pond. The smell was unbearable. . My son and I were both gagging on multiple holes, just trying to get through them.
Cold spell
The colder weather from January bet this course up. Good layout.
