Conveniently located adjacent to the DFW Airport, Bear Creek Golf Club serves up two Ted Robinson-designed, 18-hole masterpieces that are known for their stunning topography and outstanding greens. And with both golf courses playing around 6,700 yards from the tips, golfers can hit long irons and fairway woods off the tee to keep it in the fairway, which is mandatory for a good round on these tight courses. Bear Creek's West Course is demanding early, and is significantly more difficult on the front side. However, the back side opens up and allows some room for error, making this the track of choice for the high handicapper. Nos. 6 and 7 stand out on the demanding front. No. 6 requires a blind tee shot and an approach over water, and no. 7 might be the most difficult on the golf course: a 380-yard par 4 that plays into the wind and also involves water. The back side has the signature hole, the scenic 180-yard 17th, which plays along a lake.

Good to go
Have played here quite a few times. Enjoy the East course more than West.
The course is really in pretty good shape, both fairways and greens. Have played some other courses around town that are not as good of shape
Here early in June, give it a try.
Love Bear Creek
The west course is fantastic, the east, the last time I played it, wasn't in great shape. But I can say, the west was great!
Course was in good shape. Greens were good. Pace of play on back 9 was slow but overall the course conditions were good. Price is too much for a weekend round.
Nice Course
Bear Creek West
Played a scramble tournament here on the West course. The conditions were great, the layout was fun and challenging. Greens were in top condition.
Food stand
I have played there twice in the last two weeks and made the turn right at 12:30-1 o’clock and both times there is never any hot food for sale from the food truck outside.
Course is not ready
The course is not ready for serious play as of yet. Areas of fairways are devoid of any grass and greens are slow and unkept. Sand traps are hard
Great Course
This course was well maintained and offered a challenging experience. I would rank this course as one of my top 10 in the DFW metroplex.
