Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course
About
Conveniently located adjacent to the DFW Airport, Bear Creek Golf Club serves up two Ted Robinson-designed, 18-hole masterpieces that are known for their stunning topography and outstanding greens. And with both golf courses playing around 6,700 yards from the tips, golfers can hit long irons and fairway woods off the tee to keep it in the fairway, which is mandatory for a good round on these tight courses. Bear Creek's West Course is demanding early, and is significantly more difficult on the front side. However, the back side opens up and allows some room for error, making this the track of choice for the high handicapper. Nos. 6 and 7 stand out on the demanding front. No. 6 requires a blind tee shot and an approach over water, and no. 7 might be the most difficult on the golf course: a 380-yard par 4 that plays into the wind and also involves water. The back side has the signature hole, the scenic 180-yard 17th, which plays along a lake.

West course
Hit the fairway or you will spend 5 minutes looking for ur ball in the rough. Needs more water stations
Good course
Played this course on many occasions and has never disappointed. They are working on improving the course which is good, but need to address the bare spots in the rough. Greens rolled well and fairways in good shape!
Put this in your rotation
This course is always in great condition and the staff is constantly making the rounds to ensure you play in 4 hours. They have a great patio for drinking to settle post round bets.
What a joke
This place is a legit joke. They don’t tell you that the range is closed on certain days, no warning at all. Pace of play is horrible. You’re lucky to even see the cart girl once cause she’s just sitting around talking to staff and not doing her job. Will never play here again and would never recommend this place
First Time This Summer
Played West course Sunday afternoon and finished in just under 4 hours. Never had to wait and course is in great shape. Greens are smooth and good pace. Fairways provided good lies. Overall enjoyable round. Will definitely play again soon.
Thank you for playing! We appreciate your support.
Good condition
I played on 6/29, Thursday and I enjoyed much without backing up due to the extreme heat. The condition of the course was well maintained with fast greens, nice fairways, bunkers with much sands, and very sticky rough lol. But I can tell that the lay out of the East course is not the best and you can get frustrated.
Good Course, Marshall Needed
Played 6/25/23- Course was in good shape overall. the layout of the East Course is fun and very getable if you in the fairway off the tee. Started out as a single and caught two other singles that had linked up due to a 4-some playing slow. The cart girl came around 3 times in our round which was needed. Two complaints is that it was 110° out and no water coolers. I think I counted two water stations the entire time and it was like warm. There also needed to be a Marshall to get things moving. Other than that, I would definitely come back and play again.
Pace of Play was Awful
Had a 9:50 tee time. There were two groups waiting when we were supposed to tee off. First 9 took 2 1/2 hours. There were 3 4-somes waiting on the 10th tee before us. We had to leave. Terrible planning and management for an $80+ green fee.
Course was well maintained. No complaints there... was.one of the best we've played in DFW.
Nice course
Always enjoy playing here, fairways were excellent as well as the greens
Just a bit pricey for weekend fees
Great layout
Loved this course. I played the East course last week and then this week I played the West. I enjoyed both courses. One of my favorite places in DFW
Great but….
Course in great shape. Only complaint is there is no sand in the bunkers. Beside that. Can not complain
