Bear Creek Golf Club - West Course

Use to love playing this course, but last outting it took 3.5 hrs to get to number 11, no chance of getting 18 in so basically the price per hole doubled. C'mon you gotta do better than this. 5 carts backed up every hole and 10-15 mins to wait between shots-

My wife and I played the East course for the first time. Lots of trees and several blind shots, but overall a great day.

It was a challenge great course east side maybe next time k get the west one.

Excellent course! Great price! Bear Creek is in beautiful condition! As if this heatwave never happened. Beautiful challenging lil track. I definitely need a membership🔥NOW!

Hate to give this type review, but pace was completely unacceptable, despite several attempts of course officials to motivate the group ahead of us.

Probably the best condition course I have played this long hot summer. Really like the design. It was a little slow, but I think that may have been the groups in front versus overloading the course. The Marshall did eventually talk the the group ahead and pace picked up substantially.

Course was in great condition. Nice layout but they do seem to have a lot of greens surrounded by bunkers. Only complaint was pace of play was slow, but I think that was down to the specific group ahead of us.

Paying almost $100 for the condition of the course and pace of play, not worth it. I will say after 5h and still on 15th hole, they did send some complimentary drinks out with one of there staff members. Best part of the day!

Course in great condition considering the drought. Layout was good, only downside was the distraction of jets landing while you were playing.

My overall experience of the East course was good. Conditions were above average. Tee boxes to greens were in good shape. FYI the practice greens rolls 10-20 percent faster than on course greens due to being in the sun all day.

The worst part of the day. I was sent off as a single around 2:30 PM on Saturday. There weren’t many golfers on the course according to the starter so he let me go ahead. I came up to a twosome around hole 3-4 who quickly let me through as they were beginners by hole 5. They were backed up by a foursome, who I later got backed up by from hole 7-15. They finally let me through on hole 15 and demanded that I say thank you for letting me through after making me wait nearly 2 hours. They were verbally disrespectful to a guest, as I later found out they were members. The course management apologized for their behavior which I was very grateful for.

This could have happened at any other course as members tend to be elitist, sadly. Bear Creek was good and I will likely find myself playing there again.
