Cypress Bend at The Craft Farms Resort

Took a golf trip with several friends an cypress was one of the best courses we played. Conditions were great and the staff was really helpful. Would highly recommend this course.

Played cypress bend & cotton creek both are fun to play, we also played Pennisula which is the same company and that one is awesome, we played 7 courses in 7 days, these 3 were all fun to play

The course was nice, no complaints there. Unfortunately I left my wallet in the cart. It was turned into the pro shop, but all my cash was gone. My wife and I both left messages with a staff member in the pro shop who said they would speak with management. Disappointed there has been no follow up.

Greens were fast,overall condition was very good,as was pace of play

Nice facility. Good practice range. Love the course layout. Pace on front nine was great but the back nine screeched to a halt. We had as many as 4 groups on one hole! I’m not sure if they let a group on the back nine or what. Condition was fine for February. it was wet in places

This is a great course for both locals and visitors to the Gulf Shores area. Staff was super nice. Great practice facilities. This day was definitely off-season so they weren’t very crowded, but the course was still in great shape. Course layout is challenging but scoreable. Can be a bit pricey but they do have some lower rates early in the morning and late in the afternoon..

I've played a lot of golf courses over the years and I really enjoyed what this place has to offer. I played the cypress bend course. The course is challenging but not too tough. Pace of play was 3.5 hours which was perfect too. The course is a solid everyday play type of course for me. The practice facilities are kept nice and the staff was very friendly, especially both Paola and Amy in the pro shop! I was surprised how much I liked Craft Farms. Go play it if you're in the area.

Enjoyed a wonderful day at Craft Farms. Staff from Maureen in the pro shop to the starters were all friendly, couldn’t imagine a more friendly staff. Not sure why but my friend and I had the course to ourselves and we teed off at 9am. It was our very own private club! Good design, great condition, nice greens smooth and true. I can’t wait to get back to Craft Farms, make it a 36 hole day and play both courses.

This is a great vacation course. Fairways are generous and the layout is interesting, but not tricky. There are ponds on almost every hole, but it takes a poor shot to get in trouble. Pick the correct tees and you will have a great time. Their clubhouse is closed due to hurricane damage, so I cannot give it a good score on off course amenities. But the staff was great and very accommodating. We played in 4 hrs, so the pace was perfect.

My friend and I were paired with another twosome. After 5 holes, a Marshall approached us and told us we would have to speed up, that we were 20 minutes behind pace. We had been on the Golf Course for an hour. We finished the 1st nine 1:50. A group of members had come up behind us and called in saying that we were too slow, and the staff just went with it instead of checking to see when we actually teed off.

I won't go back.

Clubhouse under remodeling and course soaking wet from rain everyday but still in great shape! Can’t wait to play again!
