Nice walk through the woods
Enjoyed a nice round in perfect weather at BCCC. The greens were in great shape and the fairways are firm and in pretty good shape. You won't need your driver much but course has good practice for your short game. Tees could use some work but overall a fun place to play.
Fun in the woods
Course is short but a lot of fun absolutely beautiful trees down the fairways
It has been 10 years since I have played at Boulder.
the fairways and greens were excellent - a very big improvement from 10 years ago.
Short but Nice Course
Short yardage holes for the most part which should lead to several birdies if you can hit the ball straight. If not, bring extra balls since many fairways are narrow bordered by heavy trees, brush and private property., Pretty course in the redwoods. Fairways and greens in decent condition but far from pristine. Cart paths full of potholes and root upheaves.
Golf in the redwoods
I love this course. It has One of the most unique views and layouts in all of golf. Towering redwoods line the fairways making it for a very challenging course. However the course is very short and easily accessible by all levels of golfers. Do yourself a favor and try Boulder Creek country club you won’t regret it.
Fun
Good course. Beautiful scenery. No wait, no pressure
Great time
Lovely redwoods line the fairway, keep your drives straight. Love your long irons.
I heard greens are in the best shape in a couple of years.
Great Conditions
Course is in the best condition I've ever seen it in. You need to take advantage of it.
Come Play Soon
Course has never been in better condition! A totally pleasurable experience all the way around !
Thanks Jerry !
Good value, scenic course
Goodshort course when the fairways are in good condition.
Natural Setting
Very relaxing golf, serene conditions. The holes are shorter but narrow, lots of chances for long irons or 5W tee shots on par 3s and 4s. Smooth greens for the most part. Nice sand bunkers. Good place for iron shots from 5i to Wedge on the 10 par 3s. Nice stroll if you are a walking player.
Great for all levels
The great thing about this course is the location. Set upon the Redwoods, it is a beautiful course full of wildlife and majestic trees. It's an executive course (meaning it's shorter than a normal course) so you can play all 18 holes in less than 3 hours if you're an average player. For people just learning, the front 9 holes are enough to give you a challenge but not too tough to make you want to quit the game <grin>. It's a bit of a drive from Santa Cruz, but still one of my favorite golf courses because the of setting. On the negative side. I really wish they could make some improvements to their golf carts and the putting greens need some extra love as well. You can always find great specials on price so if you're interested in playing this course, I'd recommend looking for a deal first.
Great Value...Slow on Friday Afternoon
My wife and I really enjoyed our round, but an extreme back up of slow players drove us to play the front 9 twice. And we enjoyed that second nine even more than the first nine.
Nice Value
Nice layout with forested views. Great value, course in good shape. The 10th green requires repair, otherwise a fun day at Boulder Creek.
Fun Course
This was our first time at BCGC; fun track, not difficult. As this is tucked in the redwood forest, the fairways can be narrow, but they are short, so don't need your driver often.
Lots of par 3s, and the par 4 and 5s are reachable. Fairways were in very good shape, but the tee boxes were a bit beaten up.
But for a great location, perfect warm weather and very friendly staff, it was well worth the drive to play.
Fun course!
All greens, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape but hang on tight when traveling on the cart paths! Actually dangerous in many places.
At the same time, owners are remodeling and sprucing up the place. Maybe they budgeted $$ for the cartpaths!
