17th hole par 5 Photo submitted by glovesb on 03/09/2015
Marvelous
Course was so good surrounding red trees.
Air was clean. Everybody needs to come and just be there...
Short 18 with scenic views and narrow fairways
Overall, had a great time at Boulder Creek. The Deal Time rate w/ a cart cannot be beat. First time playing here and would come back again. There are only two tee boxes (red and white) and the whites are ~5000 yards total. The course is mostly par 3s with two short (<500 yrd) par 5's the day we played (cut down a bit due to wet conditions). You need to be able to hit accurate / straight shots here to score well as a fair portion of the holes have tree-lined narrow fairways. Greens were in surprisingly good shape and were only a bit slow because it was wet after a few days of consecutive rain. Bunkers looked to be in decent shape. Location is a bit tougher to get to as there are only a few mountain-esque / windy roads to get there, but would highly recommend it for those who are looking for a more get-away golf experience for a very competitive price.
a bit worn
Hadn't played here in 18 years...remembered it much nicer. The cart paths are like a destruction zone and it's hard to find the grass on most fairways. We had fun though and for the money, it was fine.
A piece of heaven
My wife and I have played here twice since arriving in California on vacation. We have played in Ireland (where we live) in Scotland, England, France and the US and we love everything about Boulder Creek. The course is so different and challenging, the staff are so friendly and helpful. We hope to play here many more times before we head home.
Too many par 3s.
It’s an ok course. The drive there is pretty nice, but other than that, it’s got way too many par 3s.
Fun day!
Excellent day in the Santa Cruz mountains. Fun course. Narrow and challenging. Overall the course was in good shape. I will be back!
Great for short game
3s and short 4s with a couple of par 5s but a great place for short game and accuracy
Great round
The course is in better condition than ever before. The pace of play was perfect and the staff very friendly. We will be back!!
Excellent Condition
The staff was very professional. The course was in great shape. Fairways are rolling and the greens are holding. I'm glad this course is so close to my house.
Nice walk through the woods
Enjoyed a nice round in perfect weather at BCCC. The greens were in great shape and the fairways are firm and in pretty good shape. You won't need your driver much but course has good practice for your short game. Tees could use some work but overall a fun place to play.
Fun in the woods
Course is short but a lot of fun absolutely beautiful trees down the fairways
It has been 10 years since I have played at Boulder.
the fairways and greens were excellent - a very big improvement from 10 years ago.
Short but Nice Course
Short yardage holes for the most part which should lead to several birdies if you can hit the ball straight. If not, bring extra balls since many fairways are narrow bordered by heavy trees, brush and private property., Pretty course in the redwoods. Fairways and greens in decent condition but far from pristine. Cart paths full of potholes and root upheaves.
Golf in the redwoods
I love this course. It has One of the most unique views and layouts in all of golf. Towering redwoods line the fairways making it for a very challenging course. However the course is very short and easily accessible by all levels of golfers. Do yourself a favor and try Boulder Creek country club you won’t regret it.
Fun
Good course. Beautiful scenery. No wait, no pressure
Great time
Lovely redwoods line the fairway, keep your drives straight. Love your long irons.
I heard greens are in the best shape in a couple of years.
