It was early morning and very pleasant to meet a few staff along the way. Pro shop Jim is very friendly. Greenskeeper superintendent Justin working diligently who I got a couple of pointers from. Overall I had a great day and the course is in very good shape. The course is public but also cater to all you can play monthly membership. One thing I really want to say is that all regular members should take time to repair their own ball marks plus a couple left by others on the green. In fact this should be a rule in their book. This course will be terrific when greens are intact.

I played the hot deal for 35$ on a weekday. Great value at that price

It was a really windy day but the golf play was good,

Fairways are in really good shape and are mostly wide and inviting. No water but lots of trees and bunkers . Greens are fast good shape and fast. I would recommend this course. It is a beautiful place to golff.

1rst Time we were there because of the bad weather-very windy, I asked if we can resched. They confirmed yes it was very windy and since I paid the Tee via Golfnow that I had to do this with them. When I called Golfnow...they said it was no problem but, when they called Crysyal Springs they told Golfnow that they're still ending out players. I was there when the man answered that call and I was upset about that because it was not true!!! However, being a Golfnow member they simply gave men credit for a replay. However, when I tried to claim that credit, the system automatically made my Tee time again with Crystal Springs. We didn't really wanted to play there again because of that man's falsehood. So, we had no choice but, to accept the Tee Time. We were excited just to play, enjoy the day and forget the past. Checked in 25 mins early. Checked with the starter 3x and we just waited...and waited...waited! No announcement made and the older gentleman even asked us to move our cart because we were on his way. When he left, another starter came so I approached him and asked who will we they partner us with and when do we play. First he asked me to wait and went inside the office.

Asked me which party we were, he then pointed me to a twosome that was already on the green and told me that we should catch up to them. So I asked him, why weren't informed nor an announcement made. He just gave me this blank look and said I just got here. I then told him, you meant to tell me while I was waiting for you to return from the office our party just Teed Off? So I said ok but, can we play the First Hole later after our round and he said I need to check in the office again!!! Didn't want to cause a scene nor ruin our day plus miss more holes....we just went and played. Well, for $58 and mind not a HOT DEAL, they were aerating their greens. If we had known that, we would not have played here! The attitude of the workers here are awful especially that man who I first encountered then the weather was bad and checked in with again. Too bad I didn't get his name and if I did not live so far, I will go back just to get his name!!! Will NEVER RETURN to play. Is their course worth it, NO for there's others with better Personnel and course conditions!

A must play for the Bay Area. Very challenging due to the slopes and windy conditions but fun to play!

I would definitely come back to play this course and to see the deer which is very calming.

The last time I played here was November 2019, I think the course condition is much better, I will come back more often! Thank you!

Nice course with really interesting terrain, but the pace of play is poor. We played 5 holes in 2 hours and 10 minutes on Sunday, March 7, 2021! There were four groups of players backed up on the 2 and 6 tee boxes! After 5 holeswe called it, as we drove in, we passed two groups of new players treating the tee boxes on 7 and 8 as a driving range, explaining the slow play! A marshal should be able to solve this by gently suggesting newer players move along after 1-2 shots per tee box. I would advise booking here on off-hours only.

This course is awesome it reminds me of the San Francisco courses Harding Olympic club with the beautiful grooms in manicured fairways tight lined with Monterey pine trees rough that punishes you smaller greens and shot selection in accuracy are premium if you get careless with the big club you could easily be hit in your third shot and be lucky to walk away with a double or triple with the proper irrigation this course could be a solid solid home course I will go back in dryer months and will continue my review then. Golfers who don’t fix their divots is something that I’ll never understand true golfers always would want to fix divots I mean come on you had a great shot into the green left a fat Divet fix it actually fix yours and to others anyways if they were able to make the greens in irrigation better they have the links the scenery and layout to challenge even the best of golfers
