Tijeras Creek Golf Club

We played this gorgeous course many times, still loved. The weather was perfect and pace was great, we finished 18holes in 4hours 25 minutes. Every one had great time.

The only negative comment was that some greens had so many balls marks and ducks poops.

What a complete waste of money. This course is in the worst condition I think I’ve ever seen a course.

Do they even have a grounds crew???

Will never play there again.

You shouldn’t t either. Spend your money at a course that cares.

Had a 2pm tee time on a Monday after Tropical Storm Hilary. Despite the damp conditions, the course played very well! Playing from the tips and cart path only added an extra challenge that would make Tijeras Creek as one of the most fun and challenging courses in Orange County; public or private.

Finished our round in 3 hours and 40 minutes and at a rate of $62. While it was likely a special set of circumstances that caused everything to be this way, it was a very enjoyable round and would put Tijeras Creek at the top of any golfer's list for Orange County courses.

Great staff; very friendly. Course overall is in good shape. Good pace of play. My only comment is the primetime rate for 18 holes is 194 a person; I think that's a bit steep (but not surprising given the area); more a 155-175 for the prime tee times imho. Recommend overall.

Not only was the $150+ greens fee about $100 over priced they charged for range balls to be hit off of ripped up loose mats. They also put me with a club member who is on probation so without going into detail I paid around $170 to chaperone this guy around the course. I’ve called 3 times to share my experience with Tom who I am told is the manager. I have not heard back.

Course itself is nothing special. A few good holes. Certainly not in amazing condition, OK at best. Arroyo Trabuco for the win!!

Enjoyed my round at Tijeras. The course is in great condition, is scenic, and provides a good, fair challenge.

So I'll start with the obvious - there's a bit of an issue with a number of the tee boxes. The rest of the course was in pretty solid condition and it's something they are addressing. Pace of play was FAR better than two other area courses played in the previous couple of days. As always, staff were top notch. I've played here a lot and unless it gets really backed up have never really had a negative experience.

Staff was super friendly and on point. I will always come back. Just quit raising rates please

I have been playing at Tijeras Creek for about 3 years now.

I joined the Creek Card membership because the discounted rates pays itself off in 1 round with you and your 3 buddies.

The greens and fairways are in perfect shape and when the course does go through dry spells- the staff finds a way to get it back into great condition in only a matter of weeks.

I don't know how this course has a 4 star rating- it is the BEST!

We played this beautiful course many times and really enjoyed it even weather was not very good yesterday, the staff are really nice and helpful. We will be back for sure!

My colleague and I were in town for business and had the opportunity to get out for a round on Thursday am. We were recieved warmly in the shop, however the guys in the starting area were not at all welcoming, short with responses, and really not helpful prior to teeing off. In fact, when we finished our round, my partner and I were not offered for our clubs to be wiped, not asked how our round went, we were not even acknowledged by the guys in the start/finishing area.

Great course, although the greens need some work-too many divots/dimples.

This course was in fantastic shape and had such a unique variety of holes. The front had unique and pretty water features with mostly open fairways. The back 9 was much different. The back 9 requires accuracy off the tee as you traverse through the wilderness. Overall great course I would highly recommend. Worth the price.

Fun and challenging course, pace of play was great, course was in good shape. I will definitely be back
