Disappointing
It saddened me to write this review bcs normally I’m a huge fan of the course and staff. However, time around, I was disappointed with the condition of the courses (ball marks/divers all over the greens), tee box (No Grass on the tee box from the Blue Tees) and our waitress horrible! Course of play was just a little over 4hrs and this was our only positive for the day and still managed to have fun on the course. Considering I’ve played this course many of times, and driving 2 plus hrs, and playing under these conditions for $200 is completely over valued and my friends live in the community and they were a bit disappointed with the conditions of the course.
After the round, we decided to watch the football game and grab lunch. Took a little longer than usually bcs of several events going on, but the next time when a customer is dissatisfied with food or a specific cocktail, and our server refusing to make another drink is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE especially after spending over $1,000 off the day.
Next time, I’ll be taking my friends to Pelican, Strawberry Farms or even Oak Creek!

Tijeras
Have always loved Tijeras. The poor conditions on the front nine must be an indication of the popularity of public golf in SoCal. The back nine at Tijeras had much better conditions for some reason.
The next day I played Eagle Glen in Corona and the front nine there was just as poor. The back nine at Eagle Glen was in much better condition, too.
Must be the amount of play and the topography of each nine?
Both courses are a blast.
Thank you for your comments. This is the time of year that parts of the golf course show the effects of a full tee sheet. Summer is almost over and the turf will rebound soon.
Very nice course. $165 for a weekday morning is just too much compared with other local courses.

Good course, little challenged
Everything was good, except for people from pro shop ask us to play faster but no team were behind us and stayed to watch us playing for a hole. Don’t like pressure when I hit.

Immaculate condition right now
Course is immaculate right now. Greens have a tendency to get beat up and people arent the best about fixing divots. My only issue with it. Will be back multiple times

Very slow rate of play.
Course over booked. Left after 12 holes, would of been 6 hour round.

In amazing condition
The course is perfect right now. The greens are firm and challenging. Front and back 9 are totally different which is fun. Would definitely play again.

Orange County Gem
Fantastic layout that is playable for all skill levels, with five different tee boxes from black tees all the way to the reds. The course is in excellent shape, and the greens are outstanding. Great par threes and you have to manage your game from the Teebox for the better players. You’ll hit anywhere from four iron, utility club or driver depending on the golf hole. I highly recommend this course for players of all skill level. I’ll definitely be back to this great golf course.

Horrible course.
Greens were fast or slow, no in between. Punched and over grown. Idk how that’s possible.
Fairways were so patchy and soaked it felt like we were walking on marsh, or was it the rough? We couldn’t tell where the fairways began and the roughs ended.
Sand traps were firmer than the fairways.
Just bad all around, $130 tee time but felt like a $30 course.
