Will not retun
Pace of play was horrible. Tee boxes were so bad and fairways are not groomed and greens werr really bumpyand brats are in bad shape.. I will not play here again..
One Vs One
Me and my buddy had a great rivalry match the other day. The weather was perfect the greens were running and the pace was moving. Sadly I lost by 2 strokes but we shall live to fight another day. I need to find out if this place has good food or not haven’t tried it yet.
Saturday Morning Round. 5/24/25
Great course for new beginners. There’s No water to lose your ball in with wide open lanes to swing towards. One of their safety nets around the 3-5 hole I believe was ripped and missing and as I teed up I was struck with a golf ball while hearing a very late “fore” call. The greens run fast which is fun. Now why is this course not getting a 4 or 5 star review is because it’s a little boring. Definitely can make a trip out here every now and again to mix it up. But I would not make this my home course or go to spot because after about 2 rounds you’re gonna want to go somewhere else.
pace of play so slow
Tee time was 9;18am. 1st tee off 9;40 first hole was extremely backed up. Took three hrs to finish front 9, not a Marshall in sight to control pace of play. 6 hour play
Fivesomes prevail, LA County needs to pull this Management
This place continues to survive due to Montebello becoming a 9 hole, If you want to play a course where they actually care if you enjoy your round, then don’t come here. Players do whatever they want and management, or more likely the company that holds the LA County contract to run it, could CARE LESS. Carts are shorted, so tee times are running late. Carts were not being prioritized to the 18 hole course by tee times, instead being sent to the 9 hole course. Worst of all, FIVESOMES, and.not all in carts. Just locals grouping up and on one around to manage it. 2-3 ees in the golf shop, no one out on the course managing the players. 5 hours and 20 minutes for this round.
