About
Located just south of the Palm Beaches, Atlantis Country Club has a convenient location that is just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. The golf course stands out from others in the area thanks to the abundance of mature oaks and pines as well as massive banyan trees. The lush landscape is reminiscent of a course you would find in North Carolina. The layout features fast, undulating greens and fairways that range from being wide-open to tight and lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes, including a series of canals that cross many of the fairways. Golfers will be confronted with tricky approach shots with water one side and thick stands of trees on the other. To make the golf course even more challenging, there are 100 bunkers treacherously bordering the landing areas and greensides.

The bane of all golfers…slow play.
I’ve played this course quite a few times and it’s generally a good round. Usually in good condition and a good layout. However, slow play is an issue. Abominably slow the last few times I’ve played. If you go be prepared to wait. For me it’s a rhythm thing and it affects my mental game.

Pin placement
Hard to shoot a good score when the pin placement lets 6 foot putts roll 40 feet off the green. The pin placements on November 2 were horrendous. At least 6 of them were within 12 feet from the edge of the green, Almost all were cut into a slope, and our foursome had a minimum of 10 putts roll off the green and down a hill. The greens are plenty large enough to allow better pin placements. 4 putts are very frustrating and our weekly foursome had several.

Beautiful and thinny
We play in really windy conditions(25 M/H), nearly gusty.
The weekend this golf course is really busy, pricing is attractive versus other more reputated courses. But this is a go, very playable for a double digit golfer.
I’m a white tee box player, I did play from 6300 yds ( blue), otherwise a bit short.
I do recommend this golf course .

Greens were best I have ever seen them at Atlantis. Some fairways were not in good shape. The time of day we played was really wet from due (8am). The inside staff Debbie was excellent service person. The outside person "John" needs some people training Not very good representation for Atlantis. No personality and very gruff to say the best about him. Probably not the best job for him to give him benefit of doubt.

Fun course - tough greens
Everything was in great condition and was a fun course to play. Greens were the toughest part. Feel like its what you'd expect from a championship course. You just tap the ball and it goes. The amount of lip outs to start was unreal (think my playing partner had 6 in a row) and I had a couple go off the green back onto the fairway.

Definitely Worth Playing
I was a single and had the first tee time. The starter saw I was ready to go and wouldn’t slow anyone down so he let me go off on my own. Less than 2 and 1/2 hours later I was done. The course was in very good condition. The greens had a very few bare spots but ran smooth and were fast. It was a nice layout. Water came into play on a few holes, but there were lots of strategically placed bunkers. Fully stocked clubhouse. Staff were friendly. You could see they took pride in caring for this course.

Great course
Played a solo round in under 3 hours. First time playing Atlantis; impressed with the conditions overall. Fairways were lush and soft (a little soggy from previous rain). Greens were receptive yet fast. Highly recommend playing this course on a Hot Deal. Only down fall is the short driving range that prohibits drivers and fairway woods (irons and hybrids allowed). Small bucket costs 7 dollars. Well done Atlantis!

Super fun but wet
I love the layout and scenery at this course. The green, tee boxes and fairways are in great shape. It's a coastal golf course so wet conditions should be expected. When we get a lot of rain water tends to pool in the rough on a few holes. Personally, I like being penalized for not hitting the fairway. I take it as a challenge on the few holes where the water pools. The pace of play is excellent. The value is great and you will never come across a friendlier or more accommodating staff.
