South at Fountains Country Club

I played this course for the first time this past month. The gentleman in the pro shop told me the range was closed so when I asked where the first tee was at, he pointed to the right then said out to the left so naturally I was confused. A member came up and parked his cart right in the way of me trying to get my cart so I had to go into the parking lot to get back around. The Head Golf Pro came out and started rudely asking me if I saw the sign that said no carts in the lot and when I tried to explain to him the situation and apologize, he rolled his eyes, told me the direction to go in and told me I was a liability in the parking lot because I might hit a members car. There were about 3 cars in the parking lot at this point. I’ve never had such a rude interaction at a course, let alone from the Head Golf Pro.

the rudest staff ever and the course was horrible like disgusting the houses around looked even worse felt like i was in a no man’s land the course looked abandoned seriously please don’t water ur money ever ever ever ever

Dont bother with this one. It shows as a private course on golf now but its layout is worse than most public courses. Staff was hostile . Numerous holes were completely flooded, range was closed, greens were bumby and slow. The drinking water machine was broken , no beverage cart. Lots of better choices in the area that are cheaper.

Although the greens were air rated as necessary. He still wrote very good. The layout course is always and challenging.

I thought this was a good deal being a country club. Drove an hour to find out on the 1st hole they rarified the greens. The 6 people I spoke with before the round never mentioned anything. Called golf now for a refund, and because I paid at the course, that wasn’t an option. Thanks golf now for a waste of 7 hours.

Terrible greens for what they call a country club. No disclosure on golfnow regarding recently aerated greens.

Played late afternoon round, starting at 3:15.

Had the course to myself but let another single join me on the back. Weather was brutal but fairways, greens and tee boxes were in terrific shape. They started watering the fairways on the back 9 at 5, which we had to drive thru, which was the only drawback. Recommend as a good saver if you live in the area.

Never really heard of this golf course but it popped up in this app. They charged $100 per person for a greens fee and did not indicate that their greens have been recently punched and sanded. To charge full price for conditions like that, given all of the other choices of golf courses in the area with many charging less per golfer, was not acceptable.

A friend of mine named Ryan suggested Fountains CC last week so we booked a T time for this past Thursday and despite some bad weather in the middle of our round the course was awesome! The west course was in great shape. The layout was very challenging but also very beautiful! The fairways and greens are both in very good shape. I booked the time on The GolfNow app and for the price it was the best course I have played in Palm Beach county. I would highly recommend it

We played here on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The water and ice on the course made up for recently aerated greens. Would return if we visit again.

Complimentary range balls before the round! Very nice layout, and well conditioned course. And "The Pub" after the round was excellent (good food & excellent server). I played as a guest...it is a nice club with all the amenities- relaxed atmosphere- not like some seemingly uptight private clubs.
