About
Located just south of the Palm Beaches, Atlantis Country Club has a convenient location that is just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport. The golf course stands out from others in the area thanks to the abundance of mature oaks and pines as well as massive banyan trees. The lush landscape is reminiscent of a course you would find in North Carolina. The layout features fast, undulating greens and fairways that range from being wide-open to tight and lined with trees. Water hazards come into play on nine holes, including a series of canals that cross many of the fairways. Golfers will be confronted with tricky approach shots with water one side and thick stands of trees on the other. To make the golf course even more challenging, there are 100 bunkers treacherously bordering the landing areas and greensides.

Nice day
Booked a golfing outing with an old High School friend visiting the area. Day statutes off fine first five holes, then pace of play started slowing down to point of having to wait 5-10 minutes of a tee for the groups ahead of us to move forward. The course seems not to have a player or course ranger to speed up player pace. Our round started at 1:07pm and didn’t get off the course till 5:50pm, longest pace I’ve played in over a decade anywhere in Florida, especially in the heat. Like the course but pace of play needs better management.

Nice course for an relaxing round
The course has a nice layout, there are a few challenging holes and a few that you can take advantage of to help out the scorecard. It's the summertime so if you can deal with the heat the pace of play is excellent. The conditions were overall good a few of the tee boxes probably need to be reworked as they are starting to crown. The greens were is decent shape a little slow but the rolled true. I would definitely return especially if I am just looking for a quick late afternoon 18.

The Greens Killed me
Let me start off by saying I've played this course several times and the reason for my return is because it is a beautiful / challenging place to play. The staff is absolutely great and friendly , Pace of play was just under 4 hours , and the overall course condition was great .... with one big exception , THE GREENS absolutely killed my score card , I was hitting them great all day , from my wedges to my driver unfortunately the greens were recently aerated and sanded. Note one put held the line. But please don't let this discourage you from trying the course! Play it if you haven't already.

Dry Course
Though rain is out of the course management control, they need to sprinkle the course better. Brown spots throughtout the course. Even the greens has some yellow areas. The course has a nice challenging layout. Staff are friendly and speed ofvplayvwas very good. Only problem is the brown areas due to lack of moisture.

Good value course
Tricky greens and challenging layout. With the snow bunnies gone back north, it was eerily deserted. No amenities open.

Florida but firmer
In most respects, Atlantis is a typical Florida course, but the ground and turf are firmer than I expected, particularly after the amount of rain we’ve had here recently. Getting some roll on tee shots was a pleasant surprise. Greens had been aerified recently, but still had nice speed and rolled well. The holes aren’t memorable, and except for the first hole everything seemed to be a dogleg left. Staff is laid back and helpful. Men’s locker room is nice and pretty clean. Carts are good - and fast. With an open course, a foursome could easily buzz around in 3 hours. Pace of play is good, although I was told it can be 5 hours on the weekend. 7 minute spaced tee times will do that! A little more expensive than some other options in the area.
