Bonaventure Golf Club

You’ll get what you pay for here. The layout is great. Fairways are in good shape. A few tee boxes need help. The greens and bunkers need help for sure. But what’s not to like about a great layout, great pace of play and cart paths.

Bonaventure was a premier and prestigious course for as long as I can remember. I last played 5 years ago and the course was immaculate. Today, the course was in POOR condition, dry grass, beat up/sandy greens, and grey sand traps. It is a pitty, and definitely the last time I will be playing there.

Greens are in bad shape, a lot of good golf holes, bunkers are not well maintend but for the good rate it’s Good value for money and the staff was friendly

FWYS and rough were nice. Read lots of complaints on them.

As a 5hdcp I didn’t find anything wrong with them

Pretty good layout, not that easy to play but i’m still looking for the fairways because there is no fairway ! The grass is in poor condition.

The course was not in good shape. The fairways had weeds and the greens were unputtable in many areas (bare spots and sand). We allowed many single players to play through our foursome. Singles players should have been grouped as a foursome.

No starter, no instructions on checking in, front nine in extremely poor condition back a bit more groomed. A lot of water layout is good loos golf balls in rough as not cut.
