Jensen Beach Golf Club

I just don’t know what to say!! I have been playing this golf course the last 23 years or so. It was at one time the most Premier golf course on the treasure coast. I don’t know why I keep coming back, but it is so close to my second home on Hutchinson Island. The condition of this golf course is horrible. I could not fine a tee box on the front nine that was even in decent shape. At least 14 of 18 greens, had numerous patches On them. The fairways are in terrible shape, you are hitting off of the dirt most of the time.The half way house looks like a fore closed home!! My wife and I want so much for this golf course to succeed. But I will not pay $75 for a golf course, that is close to looking like a cow pasture. This course should cost no more than 45 or $50. And that is a reach. Please, either get this course back in the conditions it was 25 years ago, and make a full commitment or please sell it!!There is so much potential for this course , But I feel it is being wasted!!

We had an 1139 tee time, got out early and the course was wide open. Despite the need to look for numerous balls hit into foliage we played in just over 3 hours. Course has numerous forced carries, doglegs, water and bunkers. Greens were fast and tricky.

Did not stop me from playing. Singleton round completed in 2hrs. Lots of time to take pictures and enjoy my round. Would definitely play this course again. Course was in great shape!!

No starter we pulled up to tee box at our time. Group behind us proceeded to rush us and tell us to hurry up. They were 10 mins & it was myself and a Buddy.

Tee boxes were in pretty bad shape and overall care of course wasn’t up to par but yet a sign in the cart reminds you they spend 600k to 800k a year on the care of the course. Haha literally comical:

I’ve caddied at Trinity Forest & played some super nice courses I’m not the 25 handicap hack that has no idea of course maintenance & care.

Wish we would’ve went somewhere else. They had a scramble of older couples hunting balls and it was miserable .

Enjoyed the day. Need course knowledge to score. Would go back. They were short on carts which caused a delay.

The course was in the best shape it has been in years. Unfortunately slow play really detracted from the experience. We left after playing 15 holes (4 hours+) as our cart gps showed us that we were 45 minutes behind schedule. We waited on every single shot. We were a Foursome. There was no Ranger out there to help speed up the play. I will give it one more shot and hopefully the experience improves

I was surprised that they allow non golfers to use the cart paths for walking and bicycle riding. Someone is going to get hit by a golf ball which can be a serious injury.

We play here regularly. Staff is friendly and helpful. The back nine can be challenging but that’s what makes it fun.

Weeds at many places in the fairways and around the greens. Fairways not well maintained. Somes greens were damaged with holes and sands. The price on the site was indicating $ 59.95, when we got there, the "gentlemen" did not even want to hear what we had to say, mentioning that for that type of course, we can't pay the price of a municipal course. It ended up that the quality was not better than the municipal course we play here for $ 35.00. Too bad, we played there three years ago and it was a very nice and well maintained course.

Course will make you want to quit the game of golf.
