Cypress Lakes Country Club
About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

Not so Nice
Not the nicest course you will play. Tee boxes needing mowed, fairways not to bad. They was a lot of room, but need to watch out for the water. Greens was slow, but was rolling very true. You can make some long putts if you get it there. Not sure I would pay full price, but the golf now price made it a very good day on the golf course. Overall not a bad course very good layout and fun to play. Just don't expect TPC.
Very nice golf experienc
We really enjoyed playing the course. Looking forward to playing it again!
Cypress Lakes - Great time
Great course set up very well for the 10 handicapper. Greens and fairways well maintained and in very good shape. Enjoyed and hope to go back soon.
Course is DRY and not In best condition
Course is very dry. Greens are patchy, water hazards are near dry. The course has looked much better in the past. I paid $17 with fees and it was worth that.
Great pace of play always open for a round of golf
Good course to get on after rain. Drains well when you face cart path only at other facilities. The pro shop encourages play and I like to play Great bargain s on golf now
Cypress Lakes
Great course. Long and challenging. Staff is always nice & course is usually in good condition. Love playing there!
Cypress Lakes
Course was in great shape consideeing the amount of rain we've been getting. Greens are coming around well and roll a little slow but true. Good value.
loved the layout, Houses but not as close to fairways as some others are
there are water hazards if you can you need to go see where they are the layout on score card is not accurate
Good course.
Good value course. Greens could be a little faster.
nice course to play
the course has some tough holes
Good discovery
Last minute find, fun, lots of water. Playing alone first time lots of surprises with waterways crossing or siding fairways . Played 18 in 2 &1/2 hour or so.
Friendly people and pleasant day. Wanted to play more... Will be back now that I know what to watch for!
Just barely ok
Tee boxes needed mowing and a little tlc.
Fairways were ok
Greens need riddance of poa annua and tlc
Don't pay more than $20.
Fun layout
Overall good condition with greens being very good. Fairways thin but it is February. Tee boxes needed attention. A fair but challenging layout.
Great course
Played this course two years ago. Was impressed withe the improvements made. Weather conditions hampered the play but enjoyed the course so much we played on. Look forward to going again with better weather.
Cart Problems
Course in great shape. Our cart barely made it back to the club house. Bad batteries and low tire. Another golfer had a flat. Overall a good experience
Sneaky Water Hazards...
Great Course 15 min from New Orleans Airport, easy in easy out. Greens were good, rolled true with average speed, staff was extremely nice. I will look forward to play here again.
this course has plenty of water
it is truly a test of your approach shots with little room for error. it is a fair but difficult course that will test all aspects of your game with an emphasis on your approach shots with plenty of water protecting the green
Great features
Pleasant surprise. On vacation and wanted to swing my clubs. Surprisingly difficult with plenty of hazards to contend with. My wife and I had a great time.
Tough place to play
Really enjoyed the course, but probably because I played well. This is a tough track. Water on most holes. Rarely can you see the green that you're playing to from the tee. The par 5's are tough to get near/reach in two even for long hitters. Not many easy par 4's & the par 3's are challenging. Played there once before 3 years ago & played poorly, losing lots of balls. Yesterday I used GolfLogix app & without it I'd have been lost. Even when using a guide, it's still tough to play. Must keep the ball straight. Conditions were still very wet on some holes. Greens wasn't bad but pretty different from one to the next. Good value & definitely a challenge for intermediate & experienced golfers.
