About
Grand Ridge Golf Club is tucked away in the swamplands of St. Charles Parish, La. This scenic course is dappled with towering cypress trees and ancient oaks draped in moss. There are enough challenges on the golf course to keep the beautiful backdrop from being too distracting though. Water hazards come into play on 10 holes and the tight fairways are lined with trees. You'll need to have accurate drives in order to put you in a good position for the approach to the equally challenging greens. The golf course is a fair test that is player friendly enough to appeal to low and high handicappers alike. Grand Ridge Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 15th. This tough 515-yard hole starts off with a tee shot over a pond up a narrow, tree-lined fairway.

Have played this course a few times over the years. Have to say that this visit was among the best. Played on Sunday, July 9, 2023 with my club. Honestly, today, this among the best public courses in the region. Greens were all in good shape and FAST. Course upkeep is really good. Definitely a pleasant surprise. Course is usually pretty good; maybe it was just because so many other courses in the region have been in less than stellar shape, but this was a nice outing.
Great course for price
Got a hot deal and can’t ask for better then that with what i paid. Course is in great shape. Greens and fairways included.
Great service
The starter/counter guy was great. I told him it was my first time playing there and he went out of his way to go set me up with to player who had vast experience at this course. The design of the course was difficult to find the next holes have to drive through the community at times. Without these gents I would have been lost.
Excellent value for the course. The greens were very fast but they were in great shape.
Nice course
The course was in great shape. Every tee box and green was nice. Greens played fast, and fairways were tight on some holes. If you slice your driver, bring extra balls. If I was better, would have been a really fun course. The course didn't have too many approach bunkers.
Driving range is open but there’s only about 10 spots, putting practice area gets crowded anything over 6 people.
Just a heads up, staff is out there watching you tee off on the first hole! Better hit straight!
Course is in GREAT SHAPE!
It’s in the BEST CONDITION I’ve EVER SEEN. OUTSTANDING JOB by the course superintendent and agronomist. All the greens are awesome, rolling great. 30-40 yards from the green and in are lush, have great lies and even a lush first cut. Fun to play.
Fairways
Still have alot of work to be done on the Fairways
Great condition
Great condition. Only 2 negatives. Range isn't open. Easy fix just not done. On the back 9, two holes have tress in the fairway which can penalize you for a good shot. Need to remove or move tee box. Other than that the course was wonderful.
Great course conditions
I have not played this course in over 15 years and was pleased with hiw well kept it is. The fairways and greens at the course are in great condition. The tree lined fairways offer a welcome challenge. The elevated Greens run at a good pace and are mostly smooth and clean.
I would definitely play here again and recommend it to others.
