Better than previous years
This is the best overseed in years. Course is looking promising, if they can get the greens to play faster it will be a great deal.
Course Needs work.
This course was not in good shape at all. Hardly any grass on the fairways. Half dirt. The greens were pitted with dirt areas as well. More dirt and less green. The course lay out was beautiful. Has a lot of potential to be a 4 star course. It looks like the course has not been taken care of in awhile. Money has not been spent to keep it to standards. It has a hotel on site as well. Money should be spent on the course to bring more people there to play, raise tee fee’s and maybe bring more business to the hotel that’s on the course for weekend tee times. A Golf weekend.
It's not clean.
There was not good condition. Especially creem condition no good.
classic course
Played here for years. Course is always fun to play, elevation and water makes it interesting.
Needs TLC
This course has a decent layout and green complexes are pretty decent. Definitely have an irrigation system problem but management is working on it. Great value if you don’t mind the drive. Would love to see conditions in the hotel and love the history.
Fun day all in all
Wasn’t a bad hour drive from Gilbert, this could be a real gem of a course but needs a little love with overgrown trees, grass and dirt patches on fairways. It’s a fun/ challenging course but they have lots of land to tame.
Poor maintenance
Course layout is resort style, but maintenance on the fairway was bad, there are dirt area in the middle of fairway without repair mark that not looking tried to be repaired
Dry as a petrified bone
The course is in dire need of attention to the irrigation system. The greens are in good shape but the fairways haven’t been watered in a very long time.
Starting by turning the water on and then burying the wires to the irrigation valves.
Won’t be back until these problems have been resolved
It has never been a well manicured course. But it is now in deplorable condition.
This course conditions are just horrible. More dirt than grass in the fairways. But all the areas between the fairways are thick and green. Ridiculous. This course is in need of new mgmt Asap. Lots of ways to save money on course maintenance yet improve the aesthetic appeal of it. If something is not done soon it is doomed
Thank you for your review. We apologize for your recent unpleasant experience. We realize the golf course is currently in substandard condition and are working to correct the issues. The golf course will be closed for the summer months in order to make repairs to the irrigation system. We hope to earn your business in the future.
Better than expected
Course was in better shape than indicated in some recent reviews. Greens were great with just a couple of bad spots. Fairways had grass but some bare spots that need attention. Decent value, good conditions, friendly and helpful staff.
Thank you for taking the time to review the golf course. We realize the course has irrigation issues in areas. We are closing the course this summer to work on the irrigation system, and hopefully will have it back in standard condition in the Fall. We hope to see you in the future.

I don't like writing a negative review, but I have no choice.
Haven't played here in couple of years. Major downhill spiral on course conditions. Some tee boxes in sad shape, fairways with huge dirt areas throughout, most of the greens had some sort of an issue, some with large dirt areas. Not sure if it's bad course management or owner refusing to put money into course. Such a shame having a hotel, restaurant & course all at one location & to be run down the way it is. We have zero plans of going back anytime soon. I truly hope they get things turned around soon. When course is in good shape, it's a fun course to play.

We are closing the golf course during the summer to make repairs, and will hopefully have it in better condition in the Fall. We hope to earn back your business in the future.
