Rancho Manana Golf Club

Rancho Manana is my favorite golf course in the North Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Great value for the money, awesome scenery and views, and challenging but rewarding hole layouts. Staff is always awesome. Pace of play can be pretty slow depending on the day, but I'm not someone who really cares about that. 5/5

Very disappointed. I had an 84-year-old friend ride along with me in the golf carts. They charged me $15 for him to ride with me. My tee time, I only paid $17. When I asked them about it (they’ve) never charged me before, they said, "We probably missed it." The starter was so unfriendly. I tried to talk to him to find out about the course, all he did was shrug his shoulders and walk off. The staff was not friendly at all. I work in the golf industry so (it was) disappointing to have a beautiful course like that have people that don't seem to care about taking care of customers.

Holes 1 and 10 have a burm/water hazard just shor to the green but no where on the card is it shown and the players assistance failed o mention it. 2 players lost their ball on the first hole, 1 on the 10th, not knowing of this hazard. Otherwise course was ok.

Course is lots of fun. It’s a tight track with lots of elevation change. Driver stays in the bag for the bulk of the course. Great mountain views and road runners on about every hole. Summer greens have dry spots, but for the value it’s a great course.

The course is a great layout and setting, but the greens are VERY POORLY maintained! Greens should be MUCH smoother and more consistent. However, the staff is always excellent! If the greens were in better condition, I would HIGHLY recommend this course.

Hot day but course has lots of personality! Friendly staff…pace of play was slow today (nearly five hours). Some greens have been affected by heat.

I always look forward to this challenging and fun course.

Great layout! Every hole looks different, l love that!

The course is in a beautiful setting with some narrow and challenging shots. I really enjoyed the scenery, and the course was in good shape being it is July!

Middle of July 118 degrees so nobody on the course. The fairways and greens were green, tee boxes in great shape, guy at the counter and the cart guy were friendly. Girl at the snack shop made sure I had enough water and ice. I got my 2nd eagle ever on the 8th hole, lots of lucky bounces and I shot well below my handicap. It’s a fun course, no two holes are alike. If you are in the fairway this course plays nice, but if you are not in the fairway bring a lot of balls.

This was the first time that I have played this course. While it is a short course, it has lots of elevation changes, and a very fun layout. The views are fantastic, and the slightly cooler temperatures help make the game more enjoyable. Javelina’s, rabbits, families of quails everywhere. Looking forward to my next round here.

Great short course, a real bargain! The only complaint l have are the price on Hot Dogs. At 10.00, per HotDog, I think it’s outrageous! I love a good Hotdog and beer at the turn.i passed it up this time!

The course is fun just because of the layout and changes in elevation. During this round, I saw rabbits, quail, javolina’s and 3 deer. The greens are unpredictable and quite bumpy. Don’t expect to make any well hit putts.

course was in decent shape given time of the year.. some greens had rough patches but overall for price this was good deal. The views have always been 5 star for this course. the layout can be challenging if never played, where to hit not necessarily how long it is. friends enjoyed it and the Tonto grill is nice place to relax after round. recommend place for the right price.

Actaully all the staff was amazing with the exception of Mr. Moore in the golf shop. He does not need to be in front of any guests. His bad attitude and approach to guests is terrible. Other than that I would go back and also recommend others.
