Rancho Manana Golf Club has one of the prettier courses in Cave Creek-Scottsdale, located high in the Sonora and combining vistas with testing golf. It offers a par-70 championship golf course laid out over elevations that change dramatically right up alongside the untouched desert and the indigenous wildlife that comes with that, as well as an old-school dude ranch that has been incorporated into the golf resort. Low-handicap golfers will be challenged by the golf course, but it's not so tough that other levels of golfer will be turned away.

The Rancho Manana Golf Club offers golf to the public and is conveniently located just 20 minutes off the highway.

Tough course

Course is short but tough and challenging... Experience where to go for is very helpful... blind Shots, lots of elevation drops.ove this style BUT this course is not forgiving, especially if you can't hit a ball... so Team Rancho Manana - please don't allow people on your course if they can't shoot a ball further than 20 yards... or even don't pair them with other players - it's frustrating to have them in your group even if they don't accept golfers etiquette! Recommend this course but management take care of your guests!

Slow play

Slowest round ever! Played Quintera 3 times last week. One round we had no one in front of us or behind us. It’s all about managing tee times, and keeping the bad players moving. Sorry, but they do neither here.

Great Challenging Course!

Regardless of the cost we always golf Rancho when visiting once a year. This course is challenging even for the experienced golfer but loads of fun and beautiful scenery with various elevations! There are no GPS screens in the golf carts so bring your own yardage finders, you'll need it! Love having dinner and a specialty cocktail "TontoRito" afterwards at Tonto's Grill (on site) it's a great way to end a tough day of golf.

Pace of play is terrible

On each of the carts they state the pace of play should be around 4 hours. I have played this course now at least a half dozen times. Pace of play is more like 5 hours. They need to either spread out the tee times, or when groups fall behind, encourage them to move along, or skip a hole. There were at least 3/4’s of the holes in which there were 3 groups on a hole and half of those there were 4 groups on a hole. That’s ridiculous. Love the fun and challenging layout, but I cannot stand the wait on every shot. Unless you have 5-6 hours to play golf, I would avoid this place
