Rancho Manana Golf Club

Course was recently opened after over-seeding. Greens are very slow and bumpy, sand traps are hard, difficult to judge. Par 5 hole 15 is under construction after flooding (It is advertise, and staff reminds players about the condition of the hole).

Layout is challenging, but enjoyable. Staff makes everyone feel welcome.

I like playing here, but I believe that the price is a little high for the current course conditions. Once greens, and sand traps gets fixed, I agree that they can charge the correct amount.

The seeding is understandable. But they need to mow. The greens are super long and it takes away from the experience. Everything looks healthy. Past time to mow

the tee box were so dry and hard, we almost couldn’t install our tee.

one hole was under contraction but weee told only once on site.

Course was in good shape even just before closing for the season. The layout is great and the views are incredible. Will definitely play again

Very different layout a fun alternative.

I had not played Rancho mañana in a couple of years. The course was not in great shape it’s in a reconstruction and there are so overall washed out areas due to the heavy rains recently.

Nonetheless it’s a great way to mix it up and the staff was very accommodating.

This round we got a lot of run of the ball due to short grass greens a bit difficult to put but we enjoy our round

Greens are small, slow and not in the greatest shape. Many fairways are narrow. Course was hard as a rock and scalped preparing for winter grass. I did not see this disclosed when I bought the round of golf. Also one of the par 5's was being renovated so that hole was a temporary par 3. Will not be back.

All tee boxes need some work, they’ve let the tee boxes get so dry that you’ll need to bring a hammer to get your tee in the ground. Number 16 is being rebuilt so they’ve changed it to a 150 YTD par 3 with a bad temporary green. No mention of this when they take your greens fee. No cart service so bring something to stay hydrated. Overall I’d find other courses to play until they get their act together.

I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO KNOW THAT THEY WERE GETTING PREPARED TO RE-SEED FOR WINTER BEFORE I BOOKED.

COURSE WAS DRY MOWED DOWN AND HARD AS A ROCK. WE COULD BARELY PUSH OUR TEES IN THE GROUND.

Because they’re drying out the course, before performing R&M, the course grounds were solid like a rock (especially the tee boxes). Otherwise, I would’ve given the course conditions, five stars. The layout of the course is superb. I’ll definitely be back!

Short course is a challenge if you miss the fairway, greens in much better condition since the rain, staff is very efficient & friendly, only complaint is numerous weeds surrounding some of the greens & lack of bunker sand, still a great course

Usually love playing this course. The greens were terrible. After playing at other courses where the greens have been great. Not sure what they missed. Greens were bumpy and slow.
