Rancho Manana Golf Club has one of the prettier courses in Cave Creek-Scottsdale, located high in the Sonora and combining vistas with testing golf. It offers a par-70 championship golf course laid out over elevations that change dramatically right up alongside the untouched desert and the indigenous wildlife that comes with that, as well as an old-school dude ranch that has been incorporated into the golf resort. Low-handicap golfers will be challenged by the golf course, but it's not so tough that other levels of golfer will be turned away.

The Rancho Manana Golf Club offers golf to the public and is conveniently located just 20 minutes off the highway.

My wife and I enjoyed the course very much. Shotmaking was a premium. Small crowned greens required accuracy and a good short game. Our only complaint was that we never saw the beverage cart; but there was water available. We would definitely play it again.

Fun layout, beautiful scenery

Nice course for the casual golfer. Not a championship layout, especially in terms of yardage, but good for mid-high handicappers and women. In excellent conditions aside from somewhat lumpy and slow greens and compacted sand traps. Fantastic views from many holes and a great Sonoran experience in terms of both flora (many Saguaros and other desert cacti) and fauna (mule deer, javalinas, etc.)

It seems like it’s taking longer and longer to play this course .. with multiple times playing in the last month and seeing 2 groups on different holes waiting to tee off .. The course is in very good shape and I love playing the course but the recent pace of play is killing me ..

What a course! It’s is challenging, but absolutely worth it! The landscaping and views are top notch especially for bringing out of state people. Staff is very helpful with tips and tricks… make sure you get the breakfast burrito, might be the best in the area!

It’s a short course but still a challenge.

I enjoyed the course I had someone that plays it a lot but it’s may to pricey. It’s a $60 to $70 dollar course. I feel most courses have gone way up in prices sense Covid. So much for keeping golf affordable!!!

Beautiful course. Speed of play was slow. We tree off at 2pm and cart girl was ending her day, so figured we get some beverages on back 9…oasis closed….other 2some quit cuz no beverages available…we continued.. pro shop should inform you there is no beverage cart and that services close at 5pm - although we were there at 5pm and she was already closed. Also construction going on in pro shop and had plastic tarp down in entryway and I almost fell…no signage or caution up and they weren’t there when we started…
