About
The Arizona Golf Resort is home to a golf school and a challenging 18-hole course. The golf course is known for its difficult and scenic par-3 holes. It is has a traditional layout that features large, subtly sloped greens that are guarded by bunkers. Stately cottonwood and eucalyptus trees line the generous fairways. Lakes form water hazards that come into play on five holes and there is also native rough throughout the course. With four sets of tee boxes, the course offers a suitable challenge for players of all skill levels. In addition to the course and the school, the Arizona Golf Resort has a putting green and chipping area as well.

This course needs a lot of TLC !!
Greens and bunkers are in good condition and well maintained. The fairways are horrific !!! Will never return to this course
New Name, thought it changed for the better!
Thought with the new name the course would be in better shape, with the Ad saying plush Fairways and plush Greens?
It was the same as it was under Arizona Golf Resort, Poor!!!
Needs updating
I lived the historic look yet if the actual course had better course maintenance it would be a great experience!
Greens great, course so-so
I got an ok price and wanted to try this course again.
Friendly staff, range was sparse, fairways were not very green but were not bad to hit off of.,
Lots of bare dirt around the course, bunkers were well tended, grass around greens pretty good and greens themselves were great - the best part of the course - they were green and pretty fast.
This course is in rough shape
We played this course on a cool day after some rain. Pace of play was great as we didn’t see anyone in front of us until the 17th hole and finished in under 3 hours. Some areas of the course were in rough shape. Some fairways were muddy - to be fair this could have been worse for us because of the rain. Most of the greens were okay.
Great round of golf at Golden Hills!
My wife and I played Golden Hills on Jan 26, 2025. We enjoyed our round! Excellent course, amazing staff and perfect conditions.

Hole in one
My husband got a hole in one on hole #14 we were unable to finish round due to frost delay and slow play which was unfortunate. Good value for the money. Greens were nice
Terrible
Golf course is horrible. Dirt and clumps of grass over watered will never play there again . Save your money and play somewhere else.
Course in very poor shape
Course seems to be completely neglected. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Maintenance issues throughout course.
On 1/25/25 fairway conditions poor- no recent rain but ball lands in mud everywhere.
Greens were better but still below average condition.
Previously rated this facility as average but now below average.
On line it said plush fairways and plush greens?
I don't know your definition of plush, but it certainly didn't live up to our standards!
We believed with the name change hopefully the course would have improvements, we were wrong!
Not a good choice
In the past I’ve played this course many times. I’ve not played it in 2 years. Had friends visiting from home and wanted to golf so I recommended this course. Course is older but always in decent condition. What a shock and embarrassment to be hit with the conditions of this course. Imagine playing golf in the Sahara desert with assorted mud bogs. Very little green anywhere unless you are counting the weeds. Even the greens were not in good condition. Front nine is the worst with some improvement on the back. Very poor value for the price we paid. Definitely WON’T be going back unless we hear of MASSIVE improvements
