About
Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

Fun track, but greens are HAIRY long
Overall, this course is a great little exec when short on time or wanting to practice short irons. Rating would be better but the greens are like the first cut of rough they are so long and not mowed. I get there has been rain, but it appears they don't have the staff to mow as all other courses are normal conditions. You aren't really putting, more like croquet striking. Once the greens get mowed back down, they'll be great as they are lush for summer conditions.

Good for practice ..
Course in better shape after the rains . However the green were Sticky !
For the price it’s an excellent way to practice or have an easy fun round

Rain
Although it rained past two days course has good drainage. No standing water. Grass a litt long lost one ball in tall grass. Overall. Value for the money

Played 18 holes and everything went well. Smooth steady movement from hole to hole. Great value and the course is in Summer condition for AZ. Very clean Golf Carts. Great course to play for a quick game.

Nice Little Golf Course
I've played this course many times now and I really do like it. It may not be the most beautiful well manicured course but for someone like me who only gets out to play every few months it's perfect. Today the greens played very fast which was a challenge. It is an older course and I like the older courses like this one.

Grounds keeper was obnoxious
Grounds keeper was obnoxious and would not stop mowing around the greens when we were on them.
