About
Located in Mesa, Desert Sand Golf Course is an executive length course with a short layout that is most suitable for beginners, but it is also a good place for golfers of all skill levels to work on their short game skills. Due to its flat terrain, the course is easy to walk with few elevation changes. The greens are remarkably fast and water hazards come into play on five holes. There are also sand bunkers scattered throughout the course. The Desert Sand Golf Course facility offers a chipping area and putting green and it is also home to a golf school.

Greens were in good shape
Our first time at this course. Very nice condition, greens for the most part nice. Fairways really good. Over 4 hours for 18, the views tremendous of the surrounding mountains. Local knowledge of our other pair really added enjoyment to the round. I played from the white tees, and really enjoyed it. I would definitely play it again.

Horrible experience with getting a cart at the time of tee off. Was told we would be next and they give 2 carts out right in front of us.

It’s the neighborhood course
I grew up in this area and this is the facility that I used to sharpen my golf skills for over 25 years. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The layout is simple and you’d really have to be a major hacker to lose your ball. THE GREENS ARE TOUGH!! One minute you think got it read and next thing you know you’re breaking and missing that majors putt.
Pace is typical. And the tee boxes posses another challenge. It’s great for the price.
Typical time is 3-3,5 hours.

Very friendly staff did not like going across four lanes of traffic it would’ve been better to have an overpass or an underpass

Friendly people on course. Not a real course, not an executive course. For what I paid on Golf Now should have been better quality course. Would not come back to this course.
