About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Great greens to putt on
Real good layout.. looked to be only 3 people working..No course maps and none offered just greens.
No sand in traps
Greens and fairways OK, tees fair and no sand in traps anywhere on course.

Super Springs
A challenging course which will be better enjoyed the second time around- true of many courses.
Condition of the course was good overall..
The greens rolled well.
It has a good layout - with dog legs each way - up and down elevation , blind shots, wide and skinny fairways - small and big greens!

Carts not charged Bag drop guy wouldn’t issue a cart despite teeing off in 30 minutes - was “hoping” an electric cart would become available.
Had to pay for range balls, but no time to warm up since we couldn’t get a cart - threw that money away. I guess.
At 5 min before tee time the cart guy was nowhere to be found - we grabbed a gas cart and took off.
Course was decent thanks to rainy spring - but not notable. Nearly Tripled the price later in week to play at grayhawk and would have done that again rather than the price paid for just ok.

Great Learning Opportunity
The course was in great shape. As a novice golfer working to get better, this course offers plenty of space along the fairways while incorporating hills and bunkers to provide plenty of challenges. This was. It my first time on this course, but it was for the others in the group. They absolutely loved it!

Pretty, challenging, fair
Interesting layout. Surprisingly, quite a bit of water, but not demanding precision beyond what a weekend golfer can handle. Quite a dista ce between a few of the holes so probably better to have a cart. Greens in very good shape.. staff was very friendly and heldful.

Nice course with good greens
Course was in good shape. They need better signage between some holes. Also when arriving to course.

Family Vacation
My wife & I golfed this course for the first time Friday and had a great round. Everyone we were in contact with were friendly and exceptional at their specific job. We’ll definitely be back to golf again.

Nice Layout
Fairways and Green complexes were in good condition. Off the fairways and more than 5 yards off the greens, not so good. I really enjoyed the layout. A great mix of short and long holes. Doglegs to the left and right. More elevation than I expected based on the location. Staff was excellent! I would play it again.

Course was in good shape
The course was in very good shape. Especially the greens. Summer grass was really greening up. The course was nicely dry even though the spring has been wet.

save your money
i'm sorry it was a piece of crap. the noise from the traffic was so loud you couldn't have a conversation with the person next to you. the tees hadn't seen sand fill on the divots in weeks and they were uneven. the fairways hard as rock. the bunkers were actually rock balls bounced from the sand wedge shooting across the greens.
0 star - its a joke for a golf course. been golfing for 40 years and it wins as the worst course i ever played.
the people working here were very very nice people.

The pace of play was extremely slow and no ranger throughout the round. Very disappointing. The course is in good shape.

Sand Traps
I always enjoy playing this course. The sand traps were brutal, with not much sand, very hard, and quite disappointing. Otherwise, a great truck.

The first time review
This course needs a lot of help, greens are decent and fairways are OK but the rest is in terrible shape. The layout is also a bit off from other places I have played. Pace of play and jamming in tee times and no Marshall is not very much fun. Would not play again.
