Superstition Springs Golf Club
About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Don't Waste Your Money
This course is definitely not worth the money. They jam as many people onto the course as they can, so pace of play is horrible. Front 9 took me over 2.5 hours. I decided to leave after the front because I didn't want to be there for over 5 hours. The course wasn't in good condition either. The only halfway decent part was the greens. Overall, definitely not worth the $75 I paid, especially in the middle of summer.
Not worth your time or money
The round started with 5 groups on the 2nd hole. Called the pro shop. They sent sometime out. Had no ranger for the day. Things got better only because suns groups decided to quit. Fairways, if you could call them that, were horrible. Very little green grass. Don't know if course doesn't have sprinklers under ground or if they are broken, but they had garden hoses and sprinklers out on numerous holes. They charge way too much for a course in this condition. They did have a drink cart but not after 1pm which happens to be when things are hottest. Don't waste your time or money on this one.
We’re sorry to hear about your experience, dsprich, but the feedback is appreciated. Your comments will be shared with the rest of the team.
Careful Playing 18 at early morning
They have a back-9 breakfast deal. We stated Hole 1 at 5:06a got to #10 6:30a and there were golfers everywhere on the back-9. Many were new, which is fine but when they don’t let you play through and have to hit into them for them to take note, that’s not cool. No Starter, Marshall or Cart Service either.
Thank you so much for leaving us a review. We are always hoping to receive feedback whenever we've missed the mark. Please know that we provide a Back 9 and Breakfast for the first 1 Hour and 32 minutes of each morning. The anticipated turn time of the first groups is 1 hr and 40 minutes and 3 Hours and 30 minutes total.
Good round!
This course was nice. From the front office to the round and player service. Everyone was nice and happy! This made for a good experience! Price was good too!

Hi djules333, we’re thrilled to get this kind of feedback. Thank you for taking the time to review us. See you soon!
Played this course many times over the years. This, unfortunately, was the worst condition I have seen. Tee boxes were bare. Sand traps were hard as a rock. Not great. I hope this returns to a better condition in the fall.
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent playing experience. Your feedback is important to us and is shared with the rest of the team to continue improving the areas impacting guest experience. The team is hard at work promoting the growth of summer Bermudagrass as we are in the midst of Summer transition conditions. Hope you return soon to find improved conditions!
try watering
doesn't look like they know how to water the course except for the bunkers. Used to be a nice place to play. Not likely to return anytime soon.
Hi u314161276612, we sincerely apologize for the experience you had, but thank you for bringing this to our attention. The team continues to work on course conditions as we transition in to Summergrass conditions. Hope you’ll give us another chance in the future.
It’s that time of the year
It’s getting a bit baked out. They have been watering greens trying to keep them up. It’s hard and fast on several holes.
Thank you for sharing, VonChrisser. The team will connect on feedback we recieve from guests and will tackle areas impacting guest experience. Hope you have a great week.
Avoid this course. Biggest rip off in AZ.
Never playing this course again. Their prices are not worth the incredibly slow round and horrible conditions I played today. The front 9 took 2 hours and 45 mins. Back 9 took 2.5 hours. No starter or ranger to keep pace. We had to wait 15-20 mins between shots. The conditions didn’t help either. Everything is burnt out and there’s geese everywhere, which means there’s geese poop everywhere too.
Never going to play this course again. Shocked that the Arcis group manages this dump. Can’t believe I paid money to wait all day playing off of burnt out fairways. Luckily I wasn’t in the sand. They look like concrete bunkers. There are so many better courses to play. Don’t waste your money here.
We appreciate you sharing your feedback, Brandon. Feedback like this is important to us and will be shared with the team. I hope you return to find summer conditions improving as we continue to work through transition.
Price is over rated
Over price for the course condition almost all water holes where dry looked bad.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. The team continues to work hard on promoting the growth of summer grass as we transition between cool and warm season grasses. We hope you return soon to find an improved experience!
