About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Played this course 10 years ago and it hasn’t changed. It is by far the worst course for no signage. Most courses show pictures of each hole and things like how far to water. Here is you’re on your own and some you don’t even see them till you go up the fairway.

A month from now, this course will not be playable. Really drying out. Too bad because it’s a fun course. Prolly won’t be back in good shape til November.
Teddyguy1, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. The playing surface is currently transitioning out of winter ryegrass and in to summer bermudagrass. We hope you return to see improved summer grass conditions.
Good pace of play on a very good layout course
My buddy and I enjoyed the course. Pace of play was good. Liked the layout and would definitely play here again.
Superstition Springs Golf Club
Played on April 22, 2023…Greens were inconsistent and somewhat grainy. Course for most part has wide fairways, but well trapped and somewhat difficult elevated green sites. Some weird tricked up holes on back nine. Course was not in great shape, and not worth paying any amount above $100.

Tee boxes need to be leveled out staff was friendly almost cocky not sure. Some traps need some sand added

Course with Personality
We tried out this course during our annual girls golf trip and will definitely keep it on our list. Everyone was very friendly, the course had persoanlity to it, and we enjoyed a great day of golf.

Steady Improvement over the last few years
The course maintenance has improved drastically over the past few years. Still room for improvement. Sand in some bunkers, (I know, stay out of the bunkers) is compacted and hard. Most Water features are only partially filled Fairways and greens had some bare spots but much improvement over years past. Will definitely start play I ng here more.

Course in rough shape for the price. Little sand and spotty grass. I wouldn’t recommend this for more than $70 a person.

Most improved course in the Mesa area
I don't understand why why this course is only rated 3.5 stars. It is much better than most 4 stars courses in the area.

Great course but pace is slow
This is a beautiful course but some of the layout is a little odd and causes slow play on a few holes. By far the play is worth the value! Overall great experience either way!

Superstition Golf
Had a great time with a couple local golfers on a very early tee time. Course was in good shape, the greens were a little slow but overall had a good experience.
