About
The East Valley's Superstition Springs Golf Club offers one of Arizona's most testing layouts, measuring over 7,000 yards, with a slope rating of 130. Golf course architect Greg H. Nash designed the course and worked with the landscape already in place to provide the abundant mounding, wide bunkers and good-looking but tough-playing water features.
By the time he had finished with the Superstition Springs Golf Club, Nash had created a golf course that Golfweek called one of America's Best Golf Courses.
After - or before - a round of golf at the Superstition Springs Golf Club, hit up the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or drinks either inside or on the patio, which overlooks the golf course's signature hole, the ninth.

Nice Course, Painfully Slow Pace
Only got to play 16 holes due to slow pace. Course was nice but it's no fun being 3 foursomes deep at a tee box.
Course Really Upgraded
I’ve played this course numerous times over the past years and found it deteriorating from year to year however the club has finally upgraded it back to being one of the most prominent corses in the Mesa area.
The reversal of starting from what used to be the 10th hole to now being the 1st tee is very much welcomed.
Ball washers at every hole, fairways well maintained, playable rough and nicely manicured smooth greens all provide a real good golf experience.

Dog Track
Very poorly maintained. Good greens and fairways. Terrible bunkers and more bare spots than I could believe. I suppose if you can hit the middle of every fairway it wouldn’t be bad if you could keep from hitting Mickey Mouse while doing it. The designer either ran out of real estate or ideas. Let it go back to desert!
Superstition Springs
I enjoy playing this course. I think the holes are unique and fun. Rough around greens is grabby and sand is not fluffy but I think it's a real fun track.

Not the best
Not good value for the fees. Sands traps are more like concrete . Fairways are average at best & greens are ok!
We sincerely regret that your experience was less than perfect. We care deeply about our course conditions and want to provide the most comfortable experience possible. The condition of the bunkers are not where we want them and we hope to change that in the future. We hope you give us another chance soon to share a more positive experience.

Nice golf course.
Well run, and friendly staff.
Many rough spots between holes.
High potential for to become one of the best in Phoenix area, as the layout is one of those rough gems. Needs someone with a special touch to take over and finish the Golf Course.
No marshals
Talked to marshal about a slow group ( two plus holes behind ) and followed up with call to pro shop with zero results. Took almost six hours to complete round ! Will not return as they just don’t care about the pace of play!

Sandless bunkers
Absolutelly no sand in most of the bunkers. Looked like thely had been scraped clean on purpose. No warning or explanation.

Soggy from overwatering
Fairways were OK, but around every green it was a swamp. This led to a lot of embedded balls, mud balls, and thick uncut collars around the greens. Also, the sand traps were quite hard, with standing water and several of them.
Great course
Front nine is challenging but overall very cool course. We were delayed for frost but they got the groups out pretty quick once they opened. Will definitely come back.
