Superstition Springs Golf Club

Superstition is a great course with amazing potential. The water features are dry this year, and some of the fairways are being worked on for hydro seeding. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoy this course over others in the area. Challenging and interesting holes.

When we arrived at the club for checking in, the greeting was great. But we were informed a hole was shorten because of reconstruction. Found out once on site.

The tee boxes , the fairways, the roughs were not like we had played it in 2018. Terrible conditions.

We were 2 foursomes. Both carts of one of the foursome stalled. Had to call the pro shop to get replacements.

Will not go back.

Once upon a time this was a great course to play. I hadn't played here for over ten years...was I disappointed! Weeds, dirt bunkers, water features dry. Sad times for Superstition Springs!

The course was in fairly sad condition. All the sand traps were scraped of all sand. Massive swaths of bare ground. Grass content was more weeds than grass. Almost all the ponds and lakes had been drained and looked disgusting. GolfNow should have listed the course’s condition. Green fees for a course in this condition were twice as high as they should be. When we.completed our round, there no cart guys/gals to clean our clubs and score a tip. We just took them off the carts, carried them to our cars, and left. Didn’t think lunch was worth checking into.

Been playing this course since 2004. I can and will no longer recommend this course to anyone.

Your course use to be a model for excellence, then you got rid of the water on 9 and you sank a bit but now no water in 80% of the holes , the crab grass is everywhere in the fairways, Tee boxes and greens I think it was hole 13 par 4 - had no grass and you made it a silly par 3 with all tee markers tossed together for a Tee box

What's up with the hole markings it was reversed order -are you switching the front to the back nine and vice versa? No one told us and all of our overviews showed it correctly

I think that many people will honest and complain

Never saw beverage service on the back 9. When we stopped after the first 9 we asked if she would be around again and were told yes so we didn't buy extra water. It was 100+ and humid so we had difficulty finishing the second 9 with no ability to get more water. Will only play again if I can take my own waters with me. I'm not going to rely on them keeping the beverage service going.

Very friendly staff! Course was not very good for the money! Crab grass around greens and in the fairways.

Course was not kept up. Lakes were dried up. Smelt like a sewer and trash everywhere. No grass in the fairways.

I've probably played this course 10 times in my life and I've enjoyed it each time. The course seemed to be in good shape, the greens are always challenging enough, and it was overall a great round, regardless of the 100+ degree weather! I will definitely play there again.

I’ve never seen so many types of grass, or weeds, on a golf course.

Overall condition is decent for summer but definitely needs work
