Painted Mountain Golf Club

Was second group out. Had multiple groups of regulars all over us for the round. Tried to let them play through but there were more groups behind. We finished in under 3 hrs. Love to play fast but this was too fast as it was our first time and we would have loved to play more relaxed. Very small issue- just wouldn’t tee off so early next time. Staff was awesome and I would definitely play again! The course it self was in good shape.

Great course. Nice to get out there and get some iron work going. Very short for long hitters.

Fairways are a little patchy and don't get the best lie. Greens were rolling great.

The fairways and greens and in very good shape now. The tee boxes are another story. But this isn't something new. Maybe one day they will spend some money and fix the tees. Otherwise it's a nice round of golf for a decent price.

The course was fun and the staff were mostly friendly. The t times were a bit close together and we waited every hole to hit but overall the pace of place was spot on to what they said it would be, 4 and 1/2 hours. We played 3 courses during our trip and the group rated this the best one of the weekend.

Average course, nothing really special. Greens in great shape.

They did not allow my wife to ride along and spectate, even for a fee. We haven’t had this happen at any other public course so it was quite disappointing.

I've been playing this course for many years. I love just two miles away, so it's very convenient. But it has one of the worst layouts for a golf course that I've ever seen. It's also been extremely neglected for the last twenty plus years and as a result, the surrounding areas (none fairways and greens are just plain sad. That said, the owner, who I once met just by chance while at Starbucks seems to be making an attempt to bring the course back to a more respectable condition. When we talked about the course I didn't yet know he owned it, so I was VERY. candid and probably more than a little too honest about with my feelings. Anyway, while I still play PM if I can't get on anywhere else, it's rarely an enjoyable round. But there does seem to be some small improvements being made. Let's hope that trend continues.
