About
The Painted Mountain Golf Club is a challenging desert-style course with a variety of different tees to accommodate every age group and skill level. The course offers a lengthier challenge from the first hole, a par-5 dogleg right, to the last, which requires an approach shot over water in order to reach the green. The Painted Mountain Golf Club, in addition to the course, is also home to the John Jacob's Golf School.

Cancelled by weather
"Dwight" from Painted Mountain cancelled our round because of weather.
Overall Good Experience
The fairways were in good shape, but the rough and grooming in general were not in the best shape. Get ready for undulating and back-to-front greens. The pace slowed down on the back nine. Played in about 4 1/2 hours.
Course in great shape. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Golf course was challenging from the tips and the greens had more undulations than expected. All in all was a great experience. Next time will do better with more experience on your course. Thanks.
Good course to play
Tee off early than scheduled. Course in good condition,. We finished 18 holes in 4 and half hours. We will be back.
Course was great and the pace was better!
I was here visiting and only had a one chance to play a round. I definitely am happy with choosing this course. Club rentals were really well priced and the hot deal price on golfnow made this a total steal. The staff were all great as well
Review
Pace of Play was terrible….5:05 hr round. This was accentuated with the course layout that had four par 3’ s on the back nine and to of those were back to back (holes 15 & 16).
UT Golfer
Course was in really tough shape. Fairways were ok, rough was just dirt for the most part. Greens were hard and fast but very bumpy.
Painted Mountain
Over 5 hrs to play. Pace of play was pathetic. Nothing was done about it.
Overbooked
It took over five hours to play simply because the course was over booked The Ranger was quite rude trying to hurry us along, only to wait behind two groups on the next tee. he had no idea how to manage the course, then again, his hands were kind of tied with the amount of people that are on the course.

Very sparse grass for winter conditions.
Very thin cut and splotchy grass around and on the greens. Sorry!
