About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

good course
I really like this course, good layout and fair.
Needs some improvements:
- No ball or club washers anywhere on the course or range
- greens were very inconsistent in terms of cut
Re-Visit
I have played this course several times and found it as enjoyable as I remember. Plenty of tees for all player levels, nice layout, very good conditions even considering a recent aeration. Equal distribution of tough, moderate and less difficult holes. Will play again in the future.
Silverado is way better
Nice track good conditions over all . Staff very polite . Played 18 holes and not one pin was even close to flat spot .zero flat areas at all the pin placements . Like what the heck ? Why do that to us and make for a super insane placement ? No was to stop a put. Greens were nice and I’m perfectly fine with fast greens but how do that make for a fun round of overpriced golf?
Not worth the long drive to get there for that kind of frustration.
I’m a ten handicap and like I said fast greens , no problem but why the poor pins?
Very happy with our choice
Course was in very good condition. Included in the round was a small bag of balls to be used at the busy driving range. Didn't have to wait long before a couple of spots became available. The food at the restaurant was very good at a reasonable price. The restaurant had a sale on draft beer which was very nice at the turn and after the round. Waitresses were very friendly.
Fun course
A great course to dust off the cobwebs. Would definitely play again during our 1-month visit to the area.
Very positive impression the minute we unloaded at the bag drop. Very courteous young men checked us in and directed to club house. Behind the counter a very engaging young man that asked all the right questions. Made me feel like I was a member of the club. On to the course where it was a joy to play. The two gentleman we were paired with knew the course and shared their local knowledge. Definitely would return to play again
Ok
Greens were inconstent in speed/condition. Bunkers need sand and rehab.
Pace of play good for a Sunday. Paired with a couple of locals was a real plus. Good shape and large greens.
Course is fun to play
Course was in good shape and while it didn't effect the enjoyment, the round did take nearly 5 hours. Yikes. Need to keep things moving better than that.
