About
Robert Trent Jones II designed the golf course at Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club, creating a championship course to shift gently from open play to intimate foliage along Willow Wash. The golf delivers Southwestern authenticity, with etroglyph-etched boulders marking holes. It differs from the "target" golf courses of Arizona in that it features player-friendly golf, manicuring transition spaces so that golfers face minimal penalty when recovering.

Nice course
Nice course, friendly staff, good practice facilities and restaurant. great pace of play
Annoying GPS
The GPS was ANNOYING
We would be parked or driving on path and the GPS would beep constantly because we were too close to the green
It beeped while people were swinging
This happened at least 6 times during round
overbooked
Very crowded, waited so long that we joined up with the couple ahead of us who were gracious enough to invite us to pair up.
Goofy back 9 layout
The overall course conditions and pace of play was good. My complaint is with the back 9 course layout. It seems like they did not have enough real estate and squeezed the 9 holes as best they could. Many blind shots and target golf required on about 5 of the back 9 holes. Otherwise, greens had good speed and fairways and bunkers were well maintained. You will likely enjoy the course more after a couple of times playing it, so you know what club to hit and where.
Fun course, great challenge
Overall in very good condition and fun course to play. Would play again next time in town.
Day at Dove
Enjoy everything at Dove. Pace was good, great company, staff are all friendly and helpful. Small issues -the range could use a sprinkler and a coupe gimmicky holes but these are minor. Thoroughly enjoyed both rounds at Dove.
Nice Desert course, pretty open fairways. Greens well maintained. Did have frost delay of 1 hr.
