Dove Valley Ranch Golf Club

i played this course on a beautiful; sunny, not too hot but VERY windy day. The layout was interesting and after first time playing certainly some course knowledge would have helped. The GPS on the cart was not helpful as not a touch screen to various points, approx distances or the group ahead of me. The course was not in good condition at all, i realize it is June in AZ, but other courses i have recently played are in much better condition on tees, fairways and greens. The staff was friendly and helpful. But the course condition are disappointing.

When you don't allow staff to clean your clubs they don't remove them from the cart. And than they don't load them into your car.

The landscaping crew are rude and interfered with your golfing. They stay in the fairway and cut grass around the hole while your trying to tee off. If they do stop what they are doing they will not stop their motors. This happen on four holes on the front nine. When the staff was notified said there should not be any cutting of grass at the time we were playing 11:30 +/-. Then they said they would not do this.

Staff were told that the crew were asked to stop and did they not know they were to do this. The grass cutters said " not one told them to stop" Staff said this was not true. When informed I could speak Spanish and understood them clearly he reversed his position. Tried to do a half way apology and failed. They he accused our group of driving a cart on the green on hole 18. On top of this they violate the ADA (American Disability Association) is not providing or allowing a handicap flag for

player on course. This is against the law.

So all in all this course is ok but the from grass cutters up to staff in the club house are very poor in customer service, attitude really, really need training.

As a local, who frequently plays courses in the North Scottsdale area, I can’t promote enough Dove Valley. Is it the best course in the immediate area? No. But you know what makes me choose Dove Valley over other courses in the area? The staff.

From the time you drop off your clubs, check in and grab food/drink from the restaurant before you tee off, you are with people who are pleasant and make you feel welcome.

Management makes sure pace of play is respected. If you have an issue with slow play, management promptly addresses the problem. Course conditions are above average

Overall, this is a course that will get you your monies worth. And the main reason?.......the staff. Nice course but the people who make it happen are the main reason I return.

Great course but very disappointed in the amenities. We didn't receive range balls with our very high green fees, my cart didn't have GPS, no Ice Bucket, wasn't allowed to have a beer on patio - had to sit on some bench in the dirt? I get there's a virus out there but if a course is going to charge normal green fees and very high at that - then we should get GPS in cart, should receive an ice bucket in the AZ heat - that's a given, and we should be allowed to sit at a covered patio to have a beer - This is super irritating and I don't know if ill ever go back there. I really like the course but felt ripped off for sure!

Soil is hard so balls roll pretty far after landing. Greens are fast.

Greens were hard and bumpy Sand traps were dirt and no sand Course was fairly dry like you would find in August

Beautiful Course, plays very fair, love the GPS on the carts!

This course had a lot of very fun holes! The greens rolled fairly well and the fairways were a little long, but bunkers were in incredible shape. F

My big issue with them is I injured my ankle awhile back and it’s been hard to get around on it, even though other golf courses have been very accommodating allowing me to use my own cart, not so at Dove Valley, guess I won’t be playing there until my ankle gets better...

Dove Valley continues to get better every time I play. From the moment you arrive at the course and are greeted by the team of individuals who are happy you came, until the last putt drops Dove Valley is awesome!

There are a lot of courses to play in AZ, but Dove Valley is an Experience not just another round of golf.
