South at Antelope Hills Golf Course
About
The South Course is a links style track, giving Prescott the distinction of having what Veach calls "an almost British Open feel" course in the middle of the desert. It offers views of the towering mountains that help provide Prescott with its temperate temperatures from several holes.

Great place to play
I used to play there when I lived in AZ. I’ve always liked the course, it looks wide open but doesn’t play that way. It has its hidden places to get in trouble. Course is in great shape, tee box to greens are lush and green. The greens looked great and rolled really true. If I had to knit pick about something it would be that it doesn’t have any ball washers on cart or course.
I live in Texas and play there anytime I come to visit family.
Known thieves
Okay, to be fair, it’s not a bad course. I’d say it’s average in both conditions and layout. Pace was slightly below average. Here is where I’d struggle: knowingly employing thieves. Let me explain. I left my range finder on the cart frame (magnet). My gf called the next morning and was told “sometimes the guys will put stuff like that in their bag and take it home.” When she asked “what guys” they said “our cart guys.” I was shocked and called the next morning. They repeated the same thing. If a business knows this is happening, it’s their duty to stop it…over time. Now, if I leave it while on the range and someone steals it, that’s not their fault. But knowing you have people stealing found property and not doing anything is enabling, even encouraging it. Pathetic business practice.
South and north
Best course best price. Well.
Organize And beautiful outlook.
This course is wide open
The play was average time. The cost was high. The layout was mostly good. It was hard to find direction to next tee on a couple holes.. The starter was not very friendly.
Good course to let it fly
This south course is very open with very little trouble. I did find the $75 price a little high for me. Tee off at 9:20 and done by 1pm.. it was a good time out playing golf.
Meh
The greens were just punched and sanded so extremely slow! I don’t think anyone in my foursome made a put anything outside of 3 to 5 feet
Long and wide fairways
We played 9 on the south course and 18 on the north. The north course was slow until the 10th hole when golfers in front dropped off. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were long and wide. The north had a lot more trees but that was nice with the heat mid-day. I would definitely play again.

Matt, we would like to clarify the conversation you had with our golf shop associates. You called twice and received the same message both times from two different employees. Our outside service staff does not "steal" or keep any items left behind in a golf cart. All items turned into the Golf Shop for safe keeping. We have a drawer full of range finders, watches, keys and cell phones. We are a very busy golf course therefore the golf carts are sent out on the course more than once per day. If your range finder was left on the cart, there is a good chance that another golf guest grabbed it off of the golf cart. Many times we have items picked up by guests and they forget to return them until they play the next time. The next time they play could be days or weeks. We have your contact information and if the range finder is returned you will be informed. Thank you. General Manager
