Las Colinas Golf Club
About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Wouldn't go back
Course was fine but the starter/marshal was extremely rude and ruined our day. Attitude, rushed us at the turn when using the toilet, then hovered and circled after we teed off at 10, even picked up my wife's ball on the next hole. Then after all the rushing, we were stacked up behind the group in front of us who waited on a par 5 til the group in front of them was off the green. Just put our whole group in a rush and a funk and ruined the rest of our game. We won't be back.
Good day for golf
Course in better condition than Toka and Az golf resort. Fairway nice as well as greens.
Course was in good shape. Wish there was more water coolers on the course. Seems like they have taken a lot of out.
Looks like a new course
I’ve played this course probably 30 times since moving to S. Gilbert in 2019. It’s always been the “cheap and close by” option. Because of summer rates I’ve been playing ‘nicer’ courses since about April and booked a last minute tee time at old reliable Las Colinas.
Holy cow has this place changed. Tee boxes were plush and soft. Fairways rival courses 3x the price. And the greens were smooth and receptive.
Staff was friendly and seemed proud of what new ownership is doing.
Course looks beautiful for the most part
Good. Fairways are coming back & so are the "snowbirds"
The guy in the pro shop was rude and very unfriendly!
Getting better
I live on this course and have played often. New ownership has made a difference. They have made a concerted effort to grow grass in bare spots and tees are much better. I have also noticed the rangers are no longer letting people drive carts around greens. I’m really happy with what I’m seeing and will continue to support the new ownership with increased play on my part.
Colinas is improving
Course was in pretty good shape. Tee boxes are getting there. I’ve seen impressive improvement to the course over the last few weeks. Good job keep going.
Greens are dying
This course was getting better and better with every visit the past couple months until the last time i went. The greens have been in great condition but the other day i went and they were all but dead. Not sure how this happened so fast with all the rain queen creek has been getting.
Course in great shape
Given the time of year this sports was a great shape
Greens were worse than Stripe Show
Cmon guys…if you aerated the green there should be the standard notification on golf now. Putting here might as well have required a sand wedge. More sand on the greens than in the traps. Was like putting on Velcro covered in sand. I would not have played here even for the 27 dollars had I known like Dobson Ranch, big red aeration warning when you go to book your tee time. The fairways were ok, some bald spots but overall ok. No cart girl, no ice bucket on cart although I have to say the drinking water stations at multiple holes had the coldest water I could’ve imagined and was nice to dunk your head under it and soak your hat. In good conditions, would’ve loved this course, give it a few weeks and see if the greens come in with this stretch of 113 degrees.

I love this course and the staff has always been great. I knew about the greens aerification two weeks before they did it as I'm on the email list. But agree that it should be posted on any tee time site.
