The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

5 hour golf

This place manages their tee times poorly and are more interested in the amount of groups they can get out in a day than the golf experience. We had a twosome holding up three groups behind and the ranger did nothing. Not worth the price. Hadn’t been back to this place in over a year and now I remember why.

Disappointed

Got a Hot Deal. Haven't played here for a year because of inflated fees. I was expecting similar conditions but found the greens rough, slow and blotchy. The fairways were long overdue for cutting and a couple of fairway bunkers hadn't seen a rake for at least a week when it rained....the rivlet marks were still there. One green was noticeably smaller because the fringe had grown in and they just didn't cut the green to the original size. Aside from that, the staff was great. We got out earlier than our tee time and didn't see anyone in front or behind all afternoon.

Save your $$

We booked a prepaid round on a day that turned out to be rainy. Upon arrival at the course, there was a big sign announcing no rainchecks that day, and we no option to reschedule. We left after 5 holes when thunder and lightning drove us in. Who ever heard of a course staying open through lightning?

Communication was non-existent. The guy in the pro shop told us to wait to go out until the course superintendent cleared it. After the guys with the tee time 40 minutes ahead of us were waiting to be called to the tee after our time had passed, we all just took it upon ourselves to start.

What a waste of money. I won't be back.

Amazing pace if play

Played at 8am Friday and place was packed but tee times were running well send the pace of play was amazing. Played in less than 4 hours as a foresome. Likely cuz course is pretty open and sprayers can usually find and play balls even if quite far off line.

Greens were not in great shape. Patchy and bumpy. Looks like didn't oversees well which is one of the few courses around this year I've seen that with. Hence the 3 rating for overall and condition. Greens are the most important IMO

Layout is OK and from the backs plays about 6600 given take with 3 185ish par 3s and 4 530ish par 5s.

Overall had a good time and I'd go back.

Overpriced & poor conditions

Course was in pretty poor shape. Lots of weeds growing in the rough, greens were pretty bumpy. Lots of dead grass and bare ground. Paid $78 to play at noon on a weekday (Thursday). Course was only worth half that.

Good basic course

Front nine was not great. Needs water and greens very lumpy. They’ve done a much better job on the back nine. This is a simple “meat and potatoes” course.

Overbooked and did not finish. There were 4 groups waiting on #10. We headed to number 1 and we’re stopped by a marshall who told us that nine was closed. Not impressed. Probably will not return.

nice course, good value

I like the course just wish they would spend a little more on maintenance.

Better if they had a starter until 2 pm.
