Las Colinas Golf Club
About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

A Fun Day on a lovely golf course
Despite the frost delay that backed up the course our 4some saw no one back or front. Played in less than 4 hours.
The fairways, greens and tee boxes all good. Only tricky hole is #10. Keep right as green is right of the pond. The flag on left is #17!
Good golf carts and the bar-cart service was regular.
Would easily recommend this course and would return.
The restaurant was bare bones so not a place to plan a full course meal.
Found everyone friendly and helpful.
Sorry that Los Colinas is trying to make up for lost revenue during 2020 & 2021. Paid for 18 holes & only played 15 holes & had several foursomes behind us who didn't finish either. Love the course & hate the crowds although we need the "snowbirds & our Canadian friends" to sustain the economy here
Real Nice Day
Greens are in good condition. Need to keep the ball in the fairways since the rough is non-existent (hard grounnd and dirt). People are super nice as was the Canadian couple that we played with. Beer prices are the best in the area.
Not a great golf Experience!
This course is average at best and way too much money for the quality of the course. Unfortunately a bit of rain when I played, however no windshields on the golf carts.
Overpriced for conditions.
Greens were sandy, bumpy, burnt and inconsistent consistent. Tee boxes ok but long grass and not all are level..
This is a $30-$40 course maximum
I played well but condition average at best
Terrible Condition, Dirt for Roughs, Sanded Greens in February
Honestly, I read a few reviews after a buddy picked this place to play last minute and I was concerned. Hoping for the best I showed up expecting average to below average conditions. Unfortunately, it was worst than the poor reviews suggested. For the record I believe I’m a fair reviewer for both the good and the bad. The only good was the nice cart lady who met us twice on our round, and the one inside the grill. That’s it for the positives.
Arrived early to warm up, but the putting greens were so dry and crusty that it made no sense to even try to putt. The range was like hitting off of a dirt parking lot with patches of scattered grass. No yardage markers to pins either, so bring your range finder.
Once on the course the fairways were average and seemed more like June golf than February, but if missed the fairway there is NO rough. This is not a joke, it goes from fairway to dirt with weed patches on every hole. It’s absolute hard pan if you miss the fairway and the dust blows as if you’re playing in a parking lot. I tried uploading pictures but the app is working.
Greens appear recently sanded in the last week or so, so nothing rolled true. Again, it felt like a bad municipal course in July or August when they opted to turn off watering.
The pace was okay on the front nine, but then slowed down to waiting on every hole, for every shot, as if they sent a few groups off the back in the middle of the day.
Finally, the price to play was $80, which did NOT include balls to warm up, and I was forced to share the cart I paid for with a single not a part of our group. This was not shared in advance, except I saw another review that mentioned as much, yet no reduced cart rate for either of us.
In summary, I would never return to this course until a massive overhaul of the maintenance program, turf and watering upgrades, and a sincere attempt by the owners to run this course like a professional golf group instead of milking cash from the faithful handful of locals who likely pay their $3-6K annual memberships I saw advertised on the counter when I checked in. In present condition, they should opt to develop this course into additional houses with a park, it would be a better site than this place.
Slow
Ranger said course is full that’s why it’s slow so either they book tee times to close or they won’t move slow player’s along
Overpriced for conditions
Greens are sanded in the middle of February. Who does that? Fairways are fine. But anything outside the fairway is dirt. Traps are hit or miss. As a single you have to share a cart. This course should be no more than $40. Instead it is way overpriced at $70
