Las Colinas Golf Club
About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Good Pace
The pace of play was under 4 hours and the staff was friendly
Amazing pace if play
Played at 8am Friday and place was packed but tee times were running well send the pace of play was amazing. Played in less than 4 hours as a foresome. Likely cuz course is pretty open and sprayers can usually find and play balls even if quite far off line.
Greens were not in great shape. Patchy and bumpy. Looks like didn't oversees well which is one of the few courses around this year I've seen that with. Hence the 3 rating for overall and condition. Greens are the most important IMO
Layout is OK and from the backs plays about 6600 given take with 3 185ish par 3s and 4 530ish par 5s.
Overall had a good time and I'd go back.
Overpriced & poor conditions
Course was in pretty poor shape. Lots of weeds growing in the rough, greens were pretty bumpy. Lots of dead grass and bare ground. Paid $78 to play at noon on a weekday (Thursday). Course was only worth half that.
Good basic course
Front nine was not great. Needs water and greens very lumpy. They’ve done a much better job on the back nine. This is a simple “meat and potatoes” course.
Overbooked and did not finish. There were 4 groups waiting on #10. We headed to number 1 and we’re stopped by a marshall who told us that nine was closed. Not impressed. Probably will not return.
nice course, good value
I like the course just wish they would spend a little more on maintenance.
Better if they had a starter until 2 pm.
Perfect day for a round
The course is very forgiving and the greens were very receptive. Just what I needed
Nice Sunday Morning
We enjoyed a very pleasant round, great pace finishing in a little less than 4 hours. Overall conditions ok, but close to half the tee boxes were torn up and sand traps unplayable. Greens were only so-so.
Not flexible
Greens were ok and fairways were good. . I had an urgent matter come up and had to leave after nine holes and there was no willingness to give me a rain check of any kind for the other nine.
Sad they sold it
Have played this course for years. Was willing to pay a little more play at Las Colinas and play fluid golf compared to other local courses that would stack their tee times. Since other course in area shut down and LC was sold, they stack their tee times and you sit around and wait on every hole. They have also increased prices - seems new owners are trying to recoup their money in the first year. Not really worth what they’re charging these days for what you get. I’ll be looking other courses before I choose a tee time here.
Amount
The amount was different than what golfnow told me. They didn't care.
