Las Colinas Golf Club
About
The golf course at Las Colinas Golf Club stretches over a gently, rolling landscape sprinkled with over 2000 cottonwoods as well as various other native grasses and plants. The greens are separated by ribbons of desert washes, where golfers sometimes catch glimpses of local wildlife. Although the golf course is not as demanding as other championship courses, the layout features an interesting variety of holes that requires precision from every club in the bag. The course offers a challenge for all skill levels with doglegs and lakes coming into play on some holes. Located in the growing community of Queen Creek, Las Colinas Golf Club has become a popular choice in the Valley.

Nice Sunday Morning
We enjoyed a very pleasant round, great pace finishing in a little less than 4 hours. Overall conditions ok, but close to half the tee boxes were torn up and sand traps unplayable. Greens were only so-so.
Not flexible
Greens were ok and fairways were good. . I had an urgent matter come up and had to leave after nine holes and there was no willingness to give me a rain check of any kind for the other nine.
Sad they sold it
Have played this course for years. Was willing to pay a little more play at Las Colinas and play fluid golf compared to other local courses that would stack their tee times. Since other course in area shut down and LC was sold, they stack their tee times and you sit around and wait on every hole. They have also increased prices - seems new owners are trying to recoup their money in the first year. Not really worth what they’re charging these days for what you get. I’ll be looking other courses before I choose a tee time here.
Amount
The amount was different than what golfnow told me. They didn't care.
Not worth the money
Tee time was delayed by an hr apparently due to frost in the morning. Somehow you still have to pay for the tee time you booked not the one you played.
Greens were in poor condition.
Course condition was below average, not worth the money.
Restaurant was good, ladies serving drinks were very friendly. Beer prices were good.
Set the expectations....But
I really enjoy this course, I love it at the start when the starter explains the pace of play expectations and how they will control it. But, it was all talk, consistent slow play in group in front of us and no Marshal to be found, must be cause of the time of day (twilight). I really love the course and the people but if you say something please follow through. Other that that was a great day and will be back again.
Golf in Queen Creek.
Nice course. Fairways in rough shape and need water. We were asked a few times to speed up, but the problem was 2 slow groups ahead of us. It took the rangers about an hour to figure that out and then he left us alone.
This course is not on my A list, but I would go back there.
It’s good enough
If you’re looking to golf on a budget this course is for you. Good shape and friendly staff.
TLC needed at LCGC
This course has the potential of being very good; however, much TLC would be required. To start, their range is almost bare of grass, making it a definite challenge to use that practice facility. The tee boxes were mixed, some with grass and some with little grass. Fairways, for the most part, were decent. Rough is very rough. Many greens had bouncy, irregular surfaces, making it difficult to putt. Sand traps were generally full, though a few were thin and/or wet from over watering. Pace of play for our foursome was good, finishing in under 4 hours. Value for money was fair.
Average Neighborhood Golf Course
The winter overseed was very spotty in the rough and the tee ground was very bad shape. Fairways and greens were in good shape.
