The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Lots of fun
We golfed The Links at Queen Creek early morning, and had an hour frost delay. We were concerned that the pace of play was going to be slow, but we moved right along all round. The course was in great condition. The course had a beverage cart and the woman on the cart was personable. It was a great round and we would recommend this course.
Good greens
Greens roll true.
Course shortish, but there is opportunity , especially off the tee, to get into trouble.
No sandtraps.
We like the friendly personnel.
One thing, though is that they have to attend to the bare fairway spots in a few areas before they grow and grow and grow.
Great Staff!
Played this course many times. Well maintained easy course that makes for an enjoyable relaxed round. Today started with slow play. On the third hole a staff member approached us, told us what the problem was and that it was being addressed. We received updates from the on course attendant and by the turn pace had picked up. Ordering food at the turn we were asked to continue on to the tenth tee after which a member of the pro shop staff delivered our food. Play moved smoothly on the back nine. Staff attention to slow pace of play made for an enjoyable round.
For the casual golfer
Great little course for the casual golfer. It has its challenges but nothing to difficult. Course is in wonderful shape
Great time!
Very well maintained course, personnel was very cordial and inviting. Great location.
Great course to work on irons
The course is shorter than many of the courses near the area but it has lots of shape and challenges. No bunkers to worry about but there are some interesting approaches to greens. Course was in amazing shapes my only complaint it lack of a driving range. Instead they had a few hitting mats and a large net. The putting and chipping areas were excellent.
Great track
Greens are the best I've played in 7 rounds in phoenix. Loved the course! Very friendly.
Well maintained and fun !
The reasonable rates and excellent condition means this course gets a lot of play. Our threesome got off a little early (for an 8:58 AM tee time) and finished (behind two foursomes) in three hours. The fairways provided some roll and the greens were quick but receptive. Rumors prevail of an imminent course closing (to be replaced with houses) which I hope are wrong since it's become a local favorite.
The Links w/family
We loved the course. We managed to finish our round at dusk. Our starting time was delayed due to frost. Other than the delayed tee time everything was great. Fast greens, well maintained fairways and tee boxes. The water features made it more challenging.
Fun to play
Our favorite course in the Mesa area. Easy to get to from where we live, about 20 minutes away. Course is always in good shape. Perfect venue for mid handicappers. Our 4some had
2 players that shot low 80s and 2 that shot double bogey golf since they hadn't played in a couple years due to health issues. All 4 enjoyed the round even though the weather was very chilly. Have booked another round.
Course in great!!! Condition
First time at the links today and was extremely impressed by the condition of the course. Fairways and greens are very well kept and in great overall condition. Course lacks a traditional driving range is probably the only downside I can think of. Staff was super friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Course is a Par 70 and a little short so it’s a great course for JR’s or older crowd. I can’t express this enough but the course is very well maintained open and forgiving. For the price you really can’t beat it! I will definitely be back !!!
Great course for the value!
Reasonable green fees for the course, liked the layout, would have liked some sand traps, otherwise really good! Well groomed!
Enjoyed my round!!
Very Nice Links Layout
The course was in very good shape and the greens were consistent. A very enjoyable round of golf.
