The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. There are plans for redevelopments into a residential area.
Set in a private, gated golf community located in Queen Creek, The Links at Queen Creek is not a typical Arizona desert course. Most of the course including the signature third hole, features ample trees, grass and water. This Sam Wese design, which opened in 1994, features four sets of teeboxes to accomodate everyone from low-handicappers to novice golfers. The Links at Queen Creek is a popular host course for tournaments, as the staff is skilled in event planning, execution and promotion.

Nice change of pace
Links at Queen Creek was a surprisingly good change of pace. It is not long but has some interesting holes. It was in very good shape for a wintertime only course. There are some places you have to know there to play for your approach shot. The practice green was long and slow but we were happy with the greens on the course. Several greens were quite sloped so you must know where to approach. The rough was very long and very wet fron watering. It may have just been bad timing. A fun day of golf.
Very nice course!
Overall a very nice course. Very green and an interesting layout. Only concern is we were happy to be paired with people that had golfed the course before as it could be confusing. But for sure it is a do over!
Course in good condition.
Played the round in a little less than 4 hours. Course and greens were in great condition.
Crowded
this was a five hour round with players behind us hitting into us as we waited for the players ahead of us to clear our landing zone.
great course but greens tricky and need ball marks on greens fixed
We only had time to play the back nine early am. Nice course, but the greens had all kinds of ball marks that were not repaired. The greens are very tricky. Enjoyed playing and have played here before and will play again. We were only a twosome and had long waits on 6 of nine holes for the sloooow foursome in front of us. We are seniors also, but we know how to keep the pace moving.
SnowBird Prospective
Pace of play was great-3-40 mins-staff were great-cart gal was good and Marshall even asked his pace was!
All and All a good day!
The Links
Had a frost delay of 1 hour. That was OK, however. The course staff was very cordial and understanding of our wait to tee off. Course starter was excellent, and informative about the course conditions and set up. Gave us helpful advice about the course. Course is relatively short, but maturity and set up made it a challenge. Conditions were excellent. Greens were excellent. I will return.
Great course for seniors
For the senior a great course in wonderful shape. Being a 5800 yd course, would be too short for the younger golfer. But for any senior a great course and a chance to score well. It does have challenging holes. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating.
Good day of golf
We were paired with a lovely local couple and had a great time. Course was in great condition and greens were good. Pace was a little slow but still finished in just under 4.5 hours.
a few challenging water holes
perfect day for golf 75 degrees and we managed to get off before our tee time and finished under 4 hours staff is very friendly
Fair but tough
Fairways are narrow, requires good straight shots. You can be wild but the water hazards will take a toll. Enjoyed the course, greens run true@ good speed! Great course for the money.
