About
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Had a good time. Only issue was with course marshall at starting tee. Not friendly kinda a jerk.
Profoundly disappointed!
We paid high end prices for moderate course conditions. This course was nothing special at all and just in moderate shape. Not worth the money. Pro well stocked with great items but snack bar hot dog was as bad as they come. I will never return or recommend.
Price Per Round
I always love playing this course. Disappointed in the cost of this round though. We set up our foursome 4 days prior to playing and paid $160/player, then thru the course, I received an email saying I could book a round for $55 dollars/player. The timeslots were on each side of our existing tee time. Does not make me feel loved by Golfnow.com. Will definitely be cross checking other avenues to make tee times on the next go around.
Standard neighborhood course
Decent condition. Not really many views or undulations if that’s what you’re looking for.
Orange Tree
I have played 8 muni courses in Feb in the area. This, in my opinion,is the best. It’s also most expensive.
Wide fairways, true greens, no shortages of bunkers.
I will play again
Course Sand Traps Need Help!
The sand traps were very hard and compacted. Need work ASAP. Due to the conditions, we stopped hitting balls out of the traps and moved any balls to the grass. Hoping this is an anomaly with the sand traps.
Some tee boxes were so dry it was difficult to put a tee in the ground.
Overall, the course fairways and greens were in good condition. We enjoyed our round there. If the traps are bad the next time we play there, we will need to move on to other courses. Thank you.

Prices are up in Phoenix, Orange Tree was worth the price
