About
TPC Scottsdale has earned a host of honors, including a spot among the top three Arizona golf facilities for service and among the "Top 50 Golf and Resort Destinations in the World," the latter by no less than Conde Nast Traveler.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale sits where the Desert Course did, but offers the thrills of golfing a new course, this one designed by architect Randy Heckenkemper, who did his best to fit the new golf course into the untouched desert land that surrounds it.
The Champions Course at TPC Scottsdale rivals its better-known sibling golf course, the Stadium Course, with all the good looks and good golf one might expect in the Scottsdale area.

Fantastic course
This course was the highlight of my golf trip, enjoyed the course and amenities.
Nice course but better for less in area….
Played on a Sunday afternoon and
Booked 1:51 tee time allowing for enough time to complete round. Three in group and was paired with a single that took 2 minute
Pre shot routines only to miss a ten foot putt by 5 feet or smoke a 75 yard drive to the right. It was a test of patience. Thought we would break off from the forth to expedite our round and found tee backed up next hole by a twosome that had no business playing on course. 12 people waited for two and no course ranger to resolve the issue. Finished round in darkness. Better courses in area that treat you in a way that suggests they are grateful for selecting there courses. Condition of course was good, but again…better courses all around and at lower rate.
Really enjoyed!
The course has a variety of tees for different levels of play. While the rough isn’t watered, the fairways and greens were in great shape. The pace of play was 4.25 hrs which was right on schedule. Very friendly staff and nice facilities. While it’s not the Pro TPC course which is across the road, I felt the course was reasonably priced for the area.
Kudos to TPC staff, not so much to GolfNow
We chose to go to the course to observe conditions given it had rained hard for 12+ hours. We were advised that there was considerable standing water on the course and greens. TPC graciously consented to waiving the greens fees, but could not adjust the $55 booking fee from GolfNow. Response from GolfNow to our request for equitable return of our fee was "only if the course is closed". In my opinion the course should have been considered closed by GolfNow. So thumbs down on GolfNow and kudos to the TPC staff for exercising good judgment and treating us fairly.
Where your dreams come true
My son and myself played the championship course on our family vacation. From the staff to the grass, our experience was all of what we dreamed of. Every hole was pristine! Great job !
Fun course
Great layout. As a high handicap I found it enjoyable and not too difficult from the white tees. Would play again

I’ll start with the staff, everyone of the staff that we came in contact with was exceptionally friendly and helpful!
The course was in very good condition, especially for this time of the year.
This was my son’s and I first visit and we will definitely be back again.

Amendment: I responded to GolfNow's initial rejection of my request for a refund and urged that they check with teh course. They did that and approved the refund. The moral of the story is to pursue the right action and they will respond in a positive fashion. And this action earns a reversal of my thumbs down; a hearty thumbs up to GolfNow for being open to doing right by their members.
