Range closed, gps on cart quit working on the 1st hole and I was told they don’t have staff to come out and address it, fairways in such poor shape you have a 50/50 chance at getting a playable lie, groundskeepers on course would not pause or step aside to let me play through

Worst condition golf course I have ever played. They may have a fungus but the fairways had very little grass and was mainly dirt and mud

Course is in poor condition and not worth the fee paid. Fairways are rough and overgrown with weeds and other vegetation. Greens are fast and bald. Worst course we’ve played this year, and we’ve played many that were in much better shape than this one even considering the hot weather. Lots of course remodeling in the works. Driving range is nothing but sand. Disappointing!

Very poor summer conditions unfortunately. Anywhere else is better.

All was good until I made my way to a water jug to refill my cup....EMPTY....it was only 105*....the next 4-5 jugs were all EMPTY......it's the little things that matter.......my only complaint but when it is 105 degrees out someone should have been checking these.....What would happen if a golfer died on the course?

If you love waiting on each shot, McDowell Mountain is your course. Average wait time on each hole 5 mins. The front 9 we waiting at least 10 - 15 min on holes 4, 5,6 & 7. Temperatures between 102 - 105. I've played a lot of rounds durning AZ summers over 32 years. This round was the first for me to have ever water stand warm. I've never experienced that before. McDowell Mtn screams WELCOME Golfers. Had I not gone through Gold Now, their green fess were $99. Enjoy!!

Course is in decent shape for this time of year. Nice layout. Worth the discounted Hot Deal price on GolfNow. Wouldn’t pay normal asking price, however.

I’m spending a year in Scottsdale and this course was always on my list however I always found courses I could play for less money. I had credit with GN from a cancelled reservation and could only use it for Hot Deal tee time. When it came up here I jumped on it. It was my birthday and I played alone for the first nine. The starter was very friendly and when I told him I was from Hilton Head I think he thought I was a low handicaper so he stood behind me to watch me hit. Of course it was not my best drive but I went on to mark 11 pars and one birdie for the best round here in Scottsdale. The fairways were in good shape although the summer heat was taking its toll, same for the greens but overall a very nice track.
