Legend Trail Golf Club

I think the course is overrated considering how expensive it is. Also, their computer software does not work well with golf now. Constant check out errors. There always seems to be something they complain about. The latest is I hit some balls after the round and was told you can only hit balls before the round. Like come on. How petty can you get? There are just too many good golf courses out there that do not treat you like that. As they take your hard earned money, they act like it is a priviledge for you to play there, rather than they are happy you are there.

Bunkers were wet obviously not raked from day before, Greens slow. Garbage cans overflowing, Starter has no people skills,

Greens ran a tad slow, but were smooth and consistent. Fairways, bunkers and transition areas were all in very good shape. Front side is quite a bit more open so pace of play was quick. Back nine is tighter with more blind tee shots; couple that with back to back par 5’s and things got painfully slow. Being severely backed up, had threesome roll up behind our foursome on the back and started yelling at us to hurry. Had to call pro shop to have Ranger come out to talk to the threesome. After the 16th hole the threesome decided to head to the clubhouse, after which, one of the players confronted a member of our group in the parking lot. Note: beware of mid 60’s blue shirt golfer with bad swing playing a yellow ball. He runs a bit hot. Aside from that, enjoyed the round.

I like this golf course. However, they have a unfriendly attitude towards hot deals bookings. We arrived 30 minutes before our hot deals tee time. The course was empty, but the staff wouldn't allow us to start until the actual tee time. We usually book tee times via hot deals, and we've never run into this policy at any other golf course. They did say we could start right away if we "paid the difference" between and hot deal rate and their rack rate. No thanks.

We play different courses around the valley every week. Couldn’t remember why we haven’t played here in several years but today I remembered. Course conditions are way below average. Greens have been punched and are so bumpy you can’t roll a putt. Burned out, muddy areas on the fairway. All of this doesn’t matter though because there is no ranger to keep play moving so you will be waiting on every single shot. On the first par 3 there were three groups waiting to tee off watching morons look for their balls. After 11 holes I left and I will never be back (until I forget why I hate this course 3 years from now). There are way better courses you can spend your money on.

Course was great. They are still recovering from summer aeration on greens.

Had 12:54 tee off & 105 temp , told by cart girl after first time around , wouldn’t be back for the day , stop by clubhouse if ya want anything ? Only half of water stations had any water the whole day , made turn @ approx 3pm , grill / kitchen closed for the day , only bar open ! Needless to say not putting customer experience @ top of the list :/

Greens and fairways were punched a week ago. This is probably the worst condition I have seen this course. Played it at least 10-15 times. Pace of play was great but right now it is not worth the price. They need to do a better job with maintenance.

We played Sunday and Monday

Sunday was fine with exception to the plugged greens.

Monday. They were plugging the fairways as well and we couldn’t finish hole 18 due to watering.

Always like this course. Greens were punched last week. Looks like some bunker work is going on too. Some light fluffy sand. Give the greens a few weeks and it will back to normal.

The greens were rough and definitely affected a number of putts. When dude was cleaning my clubs he mentioned the greens were punched on Monday. This should have been revealed during the booking process.

The course layout is interesting and a late afternoon start allowed for a very enjoyable pace of play.
