About
The Canada Course plays through forests of mesquite trees, offering a parkland atmosphere amongst a desert landscape. The natural terrain snakes through ravines and arroyos, providing several natural hazards. Considerable mounding, doglegs and elevation changes provide a varied layout, making club selection an important factor in addition to careful strategy. Golfers should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The course’s signature hole is the eighth hole, considered one of the toughest par 3s in Tucson. The hole requires players to drive the ball uphill along a narrow ridge between two Saguaro cacti, and canyons border the greens on both sides.

Wow wow!
This course is in immaculate condition for being in the dead of summer. Kudos to Troon and the staff for running a top notch operation. From the super friendly/easy checkin to the great pace of play (3hrs on a Sunday) I cannot wait to be back! Thank you!
Great course
Great course but greens were sanded. Really enjoyed my experience
Pretty good value for middle of summer post-punching
Under $30 for El Con is usually a good deal. Greens just need a bit of rolling and it’s a great cost for the degree of difficulty of these courses.
Layout was awesome and greens were great.
I played a lot of courses and this is one of the best ones I’ve played not just that the gentleman that I met when I checked in was great and very helpful. Thank you and see y’all soon.
Great Course, great staff.
Wonderful outing with my dad. Course is in wonderful shape green and lush. Pace of play great finish up in 3:50. Cart girl came around often and very sweet. Finished with lunch in the lounge good meal.
Top notch course
The experience at the El Conquistador is first rate from the time you drive up until you pack up to leave. I left my bag at the bag drop off and then parked my car. By the time I came back, by bag was strapped into my cart. Another player told me that they actually drove the cart out into the parking lot to pick him and his clubs up. Wow!
The driving range was included in the price and had a full rack of nearly new range balls at each station.
The starter had players starting at their right t-time. The course was well kept and challenging for this duffer. Oh, the cart had a ball and club wash and an ice chest WITH ICE. All in all, it was a terrific experience.
Nice course
Nice course but a tenured member, nick, manages the early start tee times moving times around and choosing who plays with whom usurping the staff and starters authorities. I and others felt manipulated
