Friendly Staff
I not only enjoy this short course because of its complexity and course conditions, but because of the staff. When I park my car, I’m greeted with a smile and eagerness to help me get situated that makes me happy that I chose the course. The gentleman that runs the pro shop, I believe his name is Ben remembered me! I’ve played this course maybe three times before and when he saw me he greeted me with “Look who’s back again!” It made me feel special that someone whom I’ve spent a collective ten minutes with over the course of two months would remember my face. Excellent customer service!
Tom-Oregon
We arrived an hour early by mistake. JD (starter/manager) did an excellent job getting us out. Enjoyed the course (challenging) weather and people. We have made our next tee time!
Sloped Fairways & Greens
Almost every fairway is sloped. Every green is sloped. When one speaks of elevated greens you expect the green is above the fairway but you don’t expected the green slopes 360° around it. That is the story of this golf course. Keeping a ball on the green even while putting is next to impossible. You should play it at least once in your lifetime.Very interesting structure as it winds through the neighborhoods.
It a great 25 dollar 9 hole golf course
Ok, I agree that this course has some areas of improvement but considering that it was closed, grew in, and revived is a miracle. Instead of writing trash reviews about what needs to be done, why not help Pusche ridge golf by soliciting the city of oro valley to approve the half million dollars it would take to make necessary improvements.or better yet, lead the fundraising effort to make the repairs. Of course you might have to expect to pay extra to keep it afloat. Right now, I think they we are lucky to have what we have for the price we have it. People who vehemently complain about this course and arm chair quarterback are probably the same folks that don’t fix their divots and drive carts on the greens. Right now it’s a 25 dollar treasure.
unplayable greens
At first glance it looks like a great course until you try and hold some greens.
1, 4 and 7 greens need to be redone, so much slope you cannot keep a ball on the greens.
Nothing like watching a 5 foot put roll off the green and down the hill 30 yards.
This could be a great track if they would flatten out some of the greens. As it stands now I cannot recommend this course the greens are just too goofy.
Great Views & Value 9 hole course
It was a fun day. Happy they are opened again. We'll be back.
Very difficult
Not for beginners. Very narrow and difficult. Hard to keep approach shots on the greens. Very tough putting surfaces. Slow pace of play.
Great layout for the space
Houses and or condos come in to play, you better hit it arrow straight
Challenging and Comfortable
Everyone working at the course was VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. This was my first time playing here. The course is in great condition and the greens are challenging (FAST). I will be back.
Good value will only improve
Given this course was closed for a couple of seasons I thought the playing conditions were pretty good. Tee boxes could use some work and hopefully as time goes on they will keep improving.
Tight little course, many holes target golf and given the small size and elevation of some of the greens, very hard to get an approach shot to stick. If I played again (and I probably will) I would try and make every approach shot a gap or pitching wedge. Nice round, nice people.
Pusch Ridge course
Impossibly canted greens in fair shape. Fairways in only fair shape, rough. Tee boxes in rough shape with pot holes, unrepaired divots.
Not a course for skilled or regular golfers who value a round of golf.
