El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Conquistador Course

Great condition. Pace of play was efficient. Excellent staff.

Still one of my favorite courses to this day. Staff is amazing, kind and generous. One of my favorite places to go and recommend everyone to take a chance at this course!

Enjoyed course. Over all very pleased. Worse part is that no one seemed to fix ball marks on the greens. Had to repair 4-6 every hole.

Course was in good shape, greens rolled true! We played as a foursome and finished in a little less than four hours. We were never rushed and never had to wait for the group in front of us until we caught up to them at hole #11 and then it was short wait on the tee boxes and in between approach shots.

Overall experience was very good!

This time of year, most courses here in Arizona are suffering from the 100* plus heat. El Conquistador has done a good job keeping the tees, fairways and greens in very good shape. The greens are soft and my only complaint would be that they are also a little bumpy and on the slow side. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to play there today, very worth the money!!

This 1st time AZ tourist had a terrific experience on their 2 courses. 1st of all, the staff was very friendly, kind, and accommodating. I golfed the Conquistador Course 1 day, then the La Canada course, the next day.

Conquistador was in great shape, considering how hot the weather has been, combined with virus precautions. The greens were great, but a little slow for my liking. Only negative wasn't the fault of them. I got behind a slow foursome. They backed up 3 groups. They refused to let anyone play through.

La Canada was also in great condition, and a very unique layout, which I enjoyed. The greens weren't as nice as they were on Conquistador. Greens also a little slow. I played a 2 hour round.

Being the weather was so hot, I would've liked a cooler of ice, or a beverage attendant more often, with ice. Yes, I brought plenty of water, but the heat was almost too much. Last suggestion, having a course marshall would've been terrific for my 1st round. Then again, a friendly local told me, that's a common problem with most area courses.

I hope to play these 2 courses again, when I visit or move to the area. I'd like to experience these courses under normal conditions. Terrific experience, nonetheless.

The course (El Conquestador) was in really great shape for a mid-summer round of golf.

Cart attendants were helpful as well as the pro shop staff.

Teed off alone at 1020 on Canada course..4 groups let me play through with no problem. Caught a 3some on number 10..they would not let me play through even though they were terrible golfers..Waited on every tee box and every second shot..not sure why they did not let me through.
